Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.

They recently renovated the rooms and the quality has vastly improved. The friendly service here has always been top notch. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good as was the sauna where my troubles melted away in the cozy bath. The local area is becoming a trendy spot in Seoul, with hole-in-wall yummy eateries as well as izakaya bars to get your drink on. But it does get crowded on Saturdays due to the weddings that occur here. The view of the river is second to none, even better than the closeby Walker Hill Hotel since Han Kang Hotel is closer to the river. Really, at this price, we really enjoyed our stay here with the renovated and clean rooms, good food, excellent service and good old fashioned friendly atmosphere that you can't find these days in the modern but cold and colourless Hotel Superchain. We will come again.

“Old wing needs upgrading”
The hotel staff are very helpful. Newly renovated room is good but the old and worn-out rooms should not be used anymore. The couch and wall papers surely harbor fomites that can cause allergies and exacerbation of asthma.

I was lucky to get a river view and while it was very nice, the real recommendation for this hotel is the location. 10 mins from the 5 line, and 2-20 minutes away from multiple convenience, fast food, independent food and supermarket stores. The area was a residential one that happen to have a hotel near by. It could definitely use some TLC but i would stay again

This hotel has a promising location, right beside the Han River, but was originally built in 1963 and is dated in many respects that do not add to mere quaintness. To the good, they are in the process of remodeling the place. Not so good--we were staying in a hallway with remodeling work going on between us and the main lobby. The bed and the sleep were quite comfortable. In the bathroom, the shower handset did not reach to the wall bracket which certainly demonstrates a certain lack of care in how things have been constructed. We didn't require much service so it is hard to evaluate. Check in was fast and friendly. The decoration of the lobby and hallways was done with monumental wood carvings and very well executed large ink paintings. If the renovation results in well thought-out spaces it could be a good place in the future. For now, only visit this place as a bargain if all you need is a place to sleep.
