“Blazing Seoul Summer”

Rooms are spacious enough, relatively clean and comfortable. Reception staff helpful and pleasant, especially Amy Lim (kudos to her). Rooms are spacious enough, relatively clean and comfortable. Reception staff helpful and pleasant, especially Amy Lim (kudos to her). Very useful to o have a pantry that one can get fresh coffee, some snacks and drinking water and even heat up and eat a simple meal. Like most Seoul hotels, must bring own shavers, toothbrushes, though some basic toiletries provided. Best complimentary stuff are the branded Klair cosmetics samples in the lobby and the coffee mug for the complimentary coffee. Only catch of the hotel is it’s on the edge of busy Myeongdong so not right in the thick of action. Myeongdong station is 5-10 minutes walk away. The rooftop is also closed and gym onto accessible except for long term guests. Plenty of excellent local eateries where one can mingle with locals and enjoy the local residential area vibes.

We are a family of 4 (4 adults, 1 toddler) and stayed in the Quattro room. This room has 2 bunk beds. Bed is comfortable but pillows are way too soft. There's a laundry room (Free washer & dryer) on the 2nd floor that guests can use if they are staying for 5days or more. Free samples (facial products) that you can self help. At the time we were there - the samples are from Klarins. The rich moisturizer is really good! My boy's eczema acted up badly due to the dry weather and this moisturizer saved his skin! 1st floor has a common kitchen area. There's a cosy little cafe hidden in the back alley, a lot of restaurants around, convenient shop down the street. Walking distance to Myeongdong (about 10-15mins walk), 5mins to the Chungmuro train station. During our stay (8nights), we noted that they have only changed the sheets once. Cleanliness could have been better as they don't clean the room properly (some hair/ trash can still be seen around despite it being cleaned). No safe in the room, we left our ipads/ tablet in the room and it was still there. Overall, a nice and convenient hotel to stay in.

The location is excellent and easy to access metro for other parts of Seoul. It is also near to some 24hour shops which is handy for supplies. The location is excellent and easy to access metro for other parts of Seoul. It is also near to some 24hour shops which is handy for supplies. The facilities in the room are great, I.e kettle, shampoo & bodywash, hot showers. There is also laundry services available which is useful. Our room wasn’t really as shown in the pictures and considering the amount we paid, we don’t feel like we got value for money. Staff were fairly friendly with us, but a special shout out to the hotel manager who assisted us with the missing laundry issue. Probably wouldn’t stay again purely for the price, but the hotel itself is good.
