Great value for 2 nights. Reception is on the 9th floor, we had corner rooms booked on 13th and 14th floor, so we had a little view of the sea, lovely! The room is a reasonable size, bed and pillows comfortable, and we were provided with toiletries, slippers, robes, small towels and bottled water. There was a kettle and green tea. Everything is quite dated, so it took me a minute to get over that, but honestly for the location and price, it was excellent value. 5 minutes walk from the subway, a couple of minutes to Sealife Aquarium and Haeundae beach. Although it is about an hour from Busan train station by bus, it was worth it for being near to beach. Centum City was 20 minutes away by subway, we visited for an evening Spaland experience, and were able to fit in a trip to Yonggungsa temple, 30 minutes trip by bus. There are other things nearby too, so a great spot for local attractions. The staff were helpful and polite, and were able to speak to us in English.

We stayed for 2 nights in a triple room with a partial view of the beach/ocean. We stayed for 2 nights in a triple room with a partial view of the beach/ocean. It was quite far from the airport (around an hour) but the location is amazing. 3 min walk to haeundae beach, in front of the traditional market and the square. The front desk is located on the 9th floor. The hotel/the entrance/corridors were very dark and so hot (no AC in the common area). Everything seems very old. The room was just ok. We were very disappointed about the view : the partial view was very very partial... Our view was mostly the back of a gigantic billboard. The room included the breakfast which was on the 3rd floor : not many choice but the food was Ok. For our next stay in Busan, we would choose another option because we find the hotel expensive for what is it. But i guess the price is due to the fantastic location.

Our family was so happy with our stay at Sunset Business Hotel that on our next trip to Busan I’ll be sure to check their availability first. I booked a Standard Double room for my husband and myself and a Korean Style Ondol room next door for our daughter. Both rooms were clean with comfortable beds and a/c, wifi and mini 'frigs that worked well. The Korean Style room was small with no beach view, but still quite comfortable and its shower was great. The Standard Double had a partial beach view and two nice chairs to view it from. Its shower wasn’t as positive an experience with a curtain that leaked leaving huge puddles no matter how you positioned it, but it was a small inconvenience. The hotel’s location is terrific, just a two minute stroll from Haeundae beach, the neighborhood traditional market, and many restaurants, bars and bus routes. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful and so was everyone working at the breakfast buffet. The buffet had a nice selection of Korean, European and American fare and we could see how hard they were working to keep it clean and well stocked during the morning rush. Thank you Sunset Hotel for a good weekend!

It was an interesting experience staying at this hotel. From the outside, it looks pretty sketchy. It is located above a bunch of "beach" bars and restaurants. However, the staff were very nice and professional. And they spoke English. Our room was quite large, and well appointed although a bit dated and run down. However, it was SOOOOO hot. They did not turn on the AC in preparation for our stay, and it took hours and hours for the air conditioning to cool the room down. We had a lovely view of the beach, but had to keep the windows covered to keep the hot sun from beating in. There was construction going on during our stay, which was quite noisy. And downstairs there was a karaoke bar that was quite loud. So it was not necessarily a restful place to stay. The value was good, but overall it was just an ok stay.
