“Lovely little gem on Beach Road”

“Great location to explore.”
I am torn between a 3 and 4 here; it‘s a great location. Friendly staff. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms though are simple; the shower small. And it is beautiful to see the ocean in the morning but it was noisy on the street. We really got to explore Cape Town from here.

“Beautiful ocean view”
Our room was spacious and had a nice view looking out over the ocean. If you cross the street, you can walk along the water and past the scenic lighthouse. The staff is very helpful. “Hotel basic at La Splendida”
Hotel is very basic & room required some attention. Room allocated had sea view but was directly above restaurant designated smoking area. Didn’t open sliding doors at front of room due to smoke smell & noise from customers. AC when used transferred smoke smell into room. Positive was the foo… more
