Lev Ljubljana is in a great location, with the entire city just a 5-minute walk away. The center, city park, and other attractions are easily accessible, and it is convenient to arrive by car. The reception staff was nice and friendly. Facility's Shortcomings While the structure has undergone some restyling efforts over the years, it is showing signs of age. It's becoming increasingly clear that more effective and immediate solutions are needed to address these issues. Here are just some examples. - The air condition is loud and not working properly The toilets are not flushing properly. I called the service at least three times. The bathtub—the water does not hold if you fill it up, but it leaks. The water pipes are old and stiff. - You could tell they'd tried to do some updating, but it looked like a shoddy, cheap job was done. No bathrobe. - The rooms, primarily designed for one-night stays, lack adequate space for clothes. This is a significant drawback for guests planning longer stays in the city or country, up to five days. The hotel’s rooms need to be more accommodating, with wardrobes and space for customers. - The elevators are super slow and mostly overflowed by people's traffic, so the waiting time is long. Only 2 out of 3 working - The Breakfast Room—probably the work experience—has an average good offer but is poor with fresh fruits. The service in the breakfast room is really bad. The management hired some seasonal young people and some coordinators who have not done much of the work previously, so if you ask for some assistance or order things, they seem lost, and there is a lack of coordination and for that, your morning routine can ruin the start of the day. You may be disappointed or frustrated. Also, here is some updating for the breakfast area, but it looked like a cheap job was done. - The bar in the lobby is not connected to the hotel, so its food offer is very poor and limited. I have seen that this hotel has a huge turnover of people per day from all over the world, and the room service is bad. The bar has no kitchen, so you can expect to be served just some poor sandwich at 22. - I saw that most of the people were complaining about the garage. The cost per day is 19€. It is not about the price, but the garage facility looks abandoned, dark, and in a poor state, lacks light, and is confusing; it is very small and cramped. The lack of personnel does not have time or power to intervene even though surveillance cameras are at the front desk. We have parked just around the corner at the Intercontinental Hotel, which looks like a nice modern parking facility from the city that has much better pricing and structure Let me add that the service and reception are super friendly, and they try to do everything possible to fix things. They know and are aware that the facility has tons of problems and works with quite heavy stress. However, these problems do not depend on the receptionist; overall, the poor management and the state of the hotel reflect a lack of overall investment and really bad management.
