The rooms were modern, spacious, and spotless. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night's sleep. The room also had thoughtful amenities, like a coffee maker, a minibar, and fast Wi-Fi. The staff was one of the highlights of my stay. I remember names Tyson, Joel and Yana who helped throughout my stay. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. They provided great local recommendations and even helped me with a last-minute request for an early check-in. Overall, this hotel combines convenience with excellent service and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again, whether for business or leisure.

We have just returned from a faultless stay at the Jen Singapore Tanglin. The hotel is extremely well appointed with features I have not encountered in a hotel before, like filtered drinking water on tap in every bedroom, and a robot that delivers room service! We didn't eat there, but the staff we encountered at check in/check out were excellent, we particularly appreciated the 4pm late check out as our flight was at 11pm, thank you Joel on reception. The outdoor pool area is lovely.

The hotel is modern and clean. The free breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. However, the room was a bit small, which is expected of newer city hotels. Housekeeping was on time. The hotel is very conveniently located, closer to the MRT station. The hotel is connected to the Tangling Mall, which hosts a wide variety of restaurants and supermarkets.

As a Circle member, I wanted to try out the various Shang properties. For our recent birthday staycation, we booked two connecting rooms. We were graciously upgraded from superior to deluxe at a higher floor. One thing to note though was that it was not connected through a door directly between the two rooms, but its more of adjoining rooms that can be closed by a bigger door. The rooms were smaller than what we were used to but it was adequate for a night's stay. In general, we had a good stay. The staff at check-in were prompt to give us our key cards, and the J65 staff were all pleasant. Our main reason to stay there was the J65 breakfast buffet, being one of the few halal-certified restaurants in Singapore. The spread was superb and the taste was of a high standard. The friendly chef manning the noodles station also perked up our morning. Would encourage all guests to fully explore the breakfast area as certain items like the nasi lemak and yoghurt were at the far corners and people did not seem to have spotted them. In fact, the hot tea / teh tarik station was also not prominent compared to the coffee machines. We had written in advance to request for a birthday cake, and this was provided as well. Greatly appreciate it! Using the app, the staff were also prompt to pass us the amenities we require. However as Jen is 4 star, do note that not all the items in the app may be available compared to the 5 star Shangri La properties. The location is convenient as well, to get away from the crowded Orchard Road. The hotel is connected to the family friendly Tanglin mall and we went there for lunch and entertainment for the kids. We also used the swimming pool, there was an adults pool, and 2 shallower pools with one being a jacuzzi. We went in the morning after breakfast, and there was hardly anyone around. All in all, it was a good stay and we would definitely return again.
