My wife and I have stayed in Singapore on at least a dozen occasions, mainly over the last 15 years, as a stopover prior to a number of cruises around Asia.... This year in Feb and Nov, we wanted to have a prolonged stay, to revisit our favourite haunts.... This hotel has always been our go-to 1st priority. It is ideally situated on the river, just over the bridge is a super Italian rezzie, and 100 yards on a lovely relaxed cafe , frequented by Mums with young kids - great tea, cakes, sourdough toast etc... The hotel is comfortable , relaxed , friendly, great rooms, a nice bar , access to. walks along the river, down to Robertson and Clarke Quay, cafes and rezzies.... We always feel at home and relax immediately ... The bonus this year was encountering the colony of River otters right by the hotel..... All the main sites are easily accessed via the MRT just 150 yards from the hotel.... Bus 123 to Botanic Gardens...Loved it again... as always...

“Nice & comfortable stay”

Stayed here for 3 nights in October 2024. Being a Marriott Bonvoy member, we pre-booked our stay and the check in and check out were pretty smooth, room was pretty good, comfortable. The breakfast spread was very good but the Indian selections were repeated on all days. They can actually try and do different items each day to avoid monotonous for the diners.

The quick review is amazingly friendly staff, clean and sizable rooms, in a good but not great location for all the touristy locations. I'll start with the staff. You'll get a friendly greeting, they will be helpful in any way they can, and in general their positivity is contagious. The rooms are clean and a very nice size. You'll get 4 bottles of water a day and daily housekeeping if you'd like. You probably won't get much of a view but you'll be able to set the ac low enough to have you forget you're basically on the equator. As for location, it's easy to get to where you need to go and has a decent amount of places to eat around. However, you'll probably be driving around or walking quite a bit before getting to a lot of the must do tourist attractions. Imo a fair trade off for potential cost savings and the quality provided by 4 Points.

“Small, clean rooms; good location”

I arrived (very) late in the evening, at about 2am, but I had emailed ahead to warn that I would be late and asking to make sure the room was held for me. The Four Points had a nice location but it’s fair to say that the rooms are a bit… compact. I arrived (very) late in the evening, at about 2am, but I had emailed ahead to warn that I would be late and asking to make sure the room was held for me. It was, and check-in was smooth and simple - no queuing at that time of the night! I headed to the room and slept straight away, so fair to say that the bed was comfortable. I ordered a room service breakfast the old fashioned way, with a menu-hanger on the doorknob, and it arrived bang on time and was good quality, still piping hot. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean so no complaints on that front- but small. I had a bit of free time and walked the riverfront, so again, location great. The other small niggle was that there was a queue to check out so I dropped my room key in the Express Checkout box but it was only a couple of weeks later, when I emailed the hotel, that I got a receipt/bill via email. I am a Bonvoy member so they have all my details - it was a bit odd not to get a bill til I asked.
