Situated opposite Kaliningrad Zoo, this imposing hotel front with 1 small front door to enter, opens up to an impressive reception and lounge with its own security on duty too. “Nice stay”
We got a room on the top floor, everything was nice and clen, staff was friendly an helpful. Our room was very quiet, no traffic nose at all (room had windows to a side street). The hotel holds a fascinating amount of history as it wasn't built to be used this way, as it was actually an office built built by the German government in the thirty's. Located in a former German insurance company, the building is different. Ideally located for downtown and zoo. Good breakfast with a lot of variety . Single rooms have some of the smallest beds imaginable
