The hotel had wonderful selections for breakfast. Great cappuccino machine. Rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. The people working at the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. They also spoke English quite well. If you want to buy lunch or dinner there later the food was actually tasty. Nice place to gather, too.

“Comfortable but also not quite there for a 4-star property ”

Comfortable enough business hotel that met our needs but is not sleek. Stayed in larger size suite/family room with kitchenette which is sufficiently equipped to cook simple dishes. Comfortable enough business hotel that met our needs but is not sleek. Stayed in larger size suite/family room with kitchenette which is sufficiently equipped to cook simple dishes. Room was clean although style felt dated, like your auntie’s living room decorated in 1999. Bathroom was simple and clean. Enclosed balcony is in principle nice to have but wasn’t inviting (uncomfortable furniture, no view). Access to hotel and rooms was awkward. Passing through weird double doors into office building lobby, up an elevator, into hotel lobby, then another set of doors to another elevator, one more door, finally the hallway leading to the room! All these doors, hallways, elevators are looking neutral like an average office building, nothing welcoming about them. Also note, old-style room key: an actual key with a big ‘attachment’ which is to be dropped off/picked up every time you leave and return. Breakfast was okay, good enough selection. Can get crowded at peak times. Restaurant itself is not inviting. Everybody walking through the lobby is staring right down on people’s plates. Furniture is pragmatic with no ambition of style, and not that comfortable. Certainly not an area one would want to hang out at or linger. Overall, okay hotel that checks all the boxes in a pragmatic no-frills way.

Reception is on the 5th floor, rooms are on the 5th and 6th floor with only stairs leading to the upper floor. Welcome was friendly and English is spoken by most of the receptionists. Free city maps of Yekaterinburg (in English or Russian) are available. The room was of a good size and had an old fashioned charm. To enter there was a heavy key as in the old days (no key card), which one had to deposit at reception, when going out. There was plenty of storage space (I had never seen so many drawers anywhere on my Russia tour). All fine also with the bathroom. Unique was the fact that the room had a closed off balcony (which could have been used by smokers). What I liked less was the complicated way to connect to the internet and then to have to reconnect everytime one went out of it. Definitely the worst on my tour. Not very happy was I also with the room service, which took place on both days only in late afternoon, after I had been mentioning it to reception (maybe it was the number: 613). Breakfast buffet as of 7am was fine, with most customers every time being Russian army men in their fatigues.

“Nice hotel”

We stayed in the ‘budget room’ and it was still very nice, although small. The room overlooked a leafy park. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff attentive with quick service at dinner. I would absolutely stay here again.
