“Good location, nice breakfast but not clean”

The hotel is good with all main services but it can provide more cleaning, the blankets in the cupboard are used with hair and stains. The breakfast provided is good and has many options. It’s very close to the bus station that can be used to go everywhere.

Quite small rooms, but with all amenities and very clean. Good room temperature. The location is excellent. They have a parking on site quite big but when we arrived it was full a lot of cars blocking others, they tell you to leave your number if a place gets liberated or someone needs to get out (really annoying as you need to be available if someone needs to get out). The staff is a bit cold (maybe they were tired with all the people on holidays...) we didn't feel welcomed and we weren't offered all the details needed but we got the answers after asking, they try to keep it professional, but there is room for improvement for a 4 star hotel in a touristy area. Nice design of the hotel newly redone. The spa is nice, clean, the sauna a bit small but it is with reservation so you can find a place to do something ( they have all types of sauna and a jacuzzi; the pool is with reasonably warm water). The restaurant is quite nice, the food is varied for breakfast and dinner, the coffee is good. We had an issue for the so called breakfast on the 1st of January it was really not well planned, we had queues for the coffee and not a lot of space to enjoy for all guests ( for the next new year they should rethink this).

We stayed in room 107 with a view of a flat roof, carpark and yard area, not ideal in such a beautiful area. The room was way too small for three people. Our son had to sleep in a camp bed which was wedged against another bed and the radiator, we had to remove a locker and push the beds over to make space to walk between beds. While the room initially looked clean on closer inspection it was quite grubby, dirty walls, light fittings and skirting boards, we found a used slipper when we moved the beds. It really needs a deep clean. Also there is absolutely no soundproofing, we could hear our neighbours and noisy neighbours further along the corridor. The bathroom was just wiped over, it was dusty and grubby in places. The toilet roll wouldn't come out of the holder without a struggle and the toilet brush was disgusting, again it really needs a deep clean. The door handle fell off inside the bathroom, luckily I was able to reattach it. The extractor fan didn't work. The common areas were clean and tidy. There was an abundance of food for breakfast and well laid out, however with such an array greed was inevitable and there was a lot of food wasted as people's eyes were bigger than their bellies. Staff were hit and miss, some friendly some rude. Overall I wouldn't stay here again unless I got a bigger, cleaner room with a better view.
