My first Romanian experience was back in 1993 at the then State run clinic Efosan headed by Medic Primer Dr Grose. No pain, no gain: If you work hard and listen to your kinetotherapy instructor and do your exercises in the pool diligently every day this will give you excellent results coupled with the additional therapies prescribed by the resident doctor. The mud, the salt lake water, the healing hands of physiotherapist Luminitsa, the electrotherapy treatment of Mari and all else. I came to Eforie Nord with a shoulder impingement. I couldn't lift my arm. I had terrible pain in my chest and right down my arm to my fingers. Luminitsa, my therapist, worked on every tendon and muscle in my body. Four weeks later I am pain free. I have my life back. I will come back for sure next year. Before you have an operation on your knees or hips or shoulder, a trip to Romania is a must. It will truly help you.
