“Great hotel, excellent situation.”
A lovely hotel situated in probably the best position in Porto. We felt a bit of a 1950's vibe about the place. We received a great warm welcome, and a tour of the hotel as it's quite complicated to find your way around because it is made up of so many buildings with bridges joining them. Our plaza… more

“5 star breakfast”
Hugo was the best!!! Nothing was too much trouble He recommended eggs Benedict and it was excellent Fresh coffee just as I finished a cup He recognised us from our last visit and treated us like family Beautiful hotel and breakfast selection

“Hugo rules”
Hugo as always looked after us, we went with my kids for brunch and had the best time. Everyone looked after us and Hugo ruled- we had several omelettes and he was super kind and polite. We go 5 or 6 times a year and love it. He recommended eggs benedict and it was amazing

“Wonderful visit!”
Exceptional service by staff who helped arrange transportation to and from train station, book dinner reservations, and more. Beautiful room overlooking the river. Definitely splurge to get a river view! The area is lively and beautiful. A very special experience.
