Excellent hotel . Very central we used the shuttle service from Airport , which was excellent. All staff were fantastic , very friendly & helpful, rooms small, but tasteful nicely decorated. Comfy bed. Lovely bathroom. Lovely city view, breakfast was first class, . Great choice & takeaway breakfast if uatr leaving early. Lovely bar . Barman was first class .

“Good central hotel”

lovely boutique hotel. comfy beds , tea coffee facilities,complimentary water, great shower with lovely complementary soap etc. Spotless. Lovely buffet breakfast in the lower floor. We asked for a room on the square. Really nice, but alot of noise well into the night. So would not book that again... more

We asked for a room on the square. Really nice, but alot of noise well into the night. So would not book that again. room was very hot so could not leave window open at night. But there was air con. We just don't like to use it. Great central location. Would recommend this hotel just for the location alone.

The location of this hotel was ideal. It was within walking distance of the train station, had bus access, restaurants next door, and walking distance to downtown. The staff were very helpful. My room, was not clean (there was something sticky on the dresser), and the shower was so small (I am 5’1”, about 124 lbs), I could barely shampoo my hair in the tiny Stand up shower box, and there were some bugs I disposed of. I choose not to ask for another room as I was tired from my 7 hr flight. I don’t have the room cleaned every day if I’m only staying a few days. I cleaned it myself. When I did have it cleaned, I realized I did not even have the top sheet, only a comforter. Very disappointed.

This hotel is well located, in a lovely square with a gorgeous church which we could see from our room, which was on the first floor and faced on to the square. The room was disappointing though, small, smelled of drains, double bed up against the wall on one side so one of us had to climb over the other to get out, and we found a cockroach on our bag as we were packing up to leave. On the bright side, it all seemed very clean (despite the drains smell and the cockroach!), the bar was good and reasonably priced (don't be in a hurry for your drink though), the breakfast buffet was good with freshly squeezed orange juice and lots of fruit and all constantly replenished by friendly and helpful staff. I didn't think the lady on reception when we checked in was particularly welcoming, but thereafter the reception staff were super-helpful when we asked about anything or needed advice. If you are going to spend a lot of time by the river its a very steep walk back up to the hotel each time but you pass plenty of nice bars at which to have a rest, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Its also very close to the start of the hop on hop off bus (although all the roads seem to be being dug up at the moment on the red line route which made for long tedious waits in traffic with not much to see... suspect the walking tour is better though we didn't do it.)
