“Beautiful gardens, lovely staff and delightful kitties in a traditional area of the city.”
A lovely building and glorious garden hidden behind an unassuming front door. “Cheap central hotel”
We used this hotel whilst visiting Porto for the Nations League football finals. We wanted cheap, central accommodation and this hotel was excellent value for the price. “Great location. Very friendly staff. Ideal”
Slightly tricky with the parking option, being a few hundred metres away, and we were very pleased to leave our car untouched throughout our 3 day stay. “Superb Staff, Horribly Uncomfortable Bed”
STAFF - 5+ stars. SUPER friendly. Cleanliness - 4+ stars. While the location is old, it was very clean. Location - 3 stars. no too far from many sites, Clergios Torre, Livraria Lello. But from Metro or São Bento railway station it was about a 10-15 minute walk from either to reach the location.... more

“Good location”
Very old hotel rundown, in desperate need of renovation. 2 very high flights of stairs to climb with suitcase, and no offer of help even though they saw I had trouble walking due to a leg problem. The mattress was so old and saggy it almost hit the floor, "balcony" so small only room for 1 person... more
