“Lisbon stay”

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it is located in parque des nocoes area, which was the old expo area of Lisbon, next to the waterfront and oriente train station is only 10 minutes walk to the hotel. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it is located in parque des nocoes area, which was the old expo area of Lisbon, next to the waterfront and oriente train station is only 10 minutes walk to the hotel. Check in was quick and easy, the receptionist was very professional and friendly and helpful. The room was located on the 11th floor of the hotel, with views overlooking the river and vasco de gama bridge, the room was very modern ,and comfy, everything in the room worked. Ever member I encountered was friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately there are 2 problems with this hotel, Out of 3 guest lifts, only 2 are working, the middle lift never worked while I stayed, so during busy times, the lifts were always full of people and had wait ages for the lifts to come, the hotel of this size should have more lifts and working, it's no fun walking up the 11th floor, walking down is ok. Breakfast in the mornings was a bit chaotic and not very organised, yes there was plenty of staff, and friendly and helpful, but there was not enough tables and chairs for the size of hotel and amount guest having breakfast. Yes it was buffet breakfast, but there was long queues of waiting for the coffee machine and the breakfast areals. A few times I went to queue for items and by the time I got what needed and returned to the table, the staff would have cleared your table already or someone else is sitting at my table. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would return in the future

As a retrospective review, I stayed here last year in October. This hotel offered a tidy and spacious room, complete with a decent working desk. The breakfast was fairly good, providing a nice start to my mornings. However, the proximity to the train station came with significant noise, making it difficult to relax fully. This hotel also lacks a fitness area. The noise and absence of fitness facilities detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. I would consider other options next time for a quieter and more complete stay.

“Parking issue ruined what was other wise a great stay.”

Great hotel and decent location but don't loose your parking stub. Stayed 3 days, told them I don't have my stub but would pay the $30 Eurs parking. $10 per day max, and they tagged on an additional $20 Eurs for the lost parking stub. $50 Eurs for 3 days parking.
