As soon as we arrived at the Dom Pedro Lisboa on the 1st November we were welcomed with cheerful and helpful Front of Desk team, we had decided to book a Suite for our 3 night stay and it was wonderful, we arrived early evening but the view over the river and bridge with all the lights around the City were amazing! in the sitting area on the coffee table were beautifully laid out a Bottle of Port, 2 glasses, 2 plates with napkins and cutlery and Portugese tarts and a lovely message on a card welcoming us, there was a large screen Tv and quite large lamps which gave the room a lovely ambience, the bedroom window again looked over the river, bridge and City, there was also a Tv and some chocolates left on the pillows, the bed was at least a Super King Size maybe bigger? robes were available if needed, the bed was comfortable and the House Keeping Team are above standard, there is also another toilet before you walk into the sitting area, the windows open to safety allowance to let fresh air in. We had booked Breakfast and Dinner at the Hotel and we were not disappointed a excellent selection of food for both sittings, The Evening Team were fantastic and special thanks to Edwardo and Alex but they were all very attentive, the morning team were also very good but they were extremely busy but always smiling! on the 2nd November it was my better half's Birthday i hadn't actually mentioned this to anyone at the hotel so it was a lovely surprise when there was a knock on the door and a lovely girl bought in a bottle of bubbly in a ice bucket and chocolate cake, candle and napkins and plates the House Keeper spotted the Birthday Cards!!! i had read the Hotel wasn't in the tourist area and i was really happy as the tourist area's get very busy and noisy! the Hotel has public transport and also the no 24 tram i believe runs outside there is also a taxi rank, sadly we didn't get to use the facilities pool ect or the VIP lounge which you may use if you book a Suite due to us doing so much sight seeing and going out on a boat trip, i would highly recommend the Dom Pedro it truly is a lovely Hotel and People as a bonus if you like shopping there is a Brilliant shopping centre next to the hotel!!!!! Many thanks again for a memorable stay!!

We are here for five nights. We came early to join our Portugal tour. We have found the room to be very nice: comfy beds, nice sized bath, great wi-FI and good A/C. Breakfasts (included) are very good. The hotel is out a bit from the central area of Lisbon, old town and the tourist areas along the river but taxis and Ubers are easily available. There is a large, modern shopping mall a block away with a supermarket, shops and a food court.

We were well looked after by all the staff, short break in Lisbon. Good selection at breakfast. But hot food needed to be hotter, only cold plates were available. Coffee was awful. The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Immaculate ensuite. The spa was very good. Lovely staff with healing hands. This hotel is 10 min taxi ride from the old town. A great base to explore the city from.

“Hotel and staff are nice but location is not near tourist sites and wifi is terrible”

We stayed here since I was attending a conference across the street at Epic Sana. The location is not what I would choose as a tourist though. The tourist sites like Belem Tower, and Geronimo Monastery are a good 15 min taxi ride away. The hotel itself is nice, older but still elegant. The rooms and bathroom are a good size. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff was excellent as well, exuding old style elegance. The WiFi was poor, if you need to do any work online, it is very frustrating. Although the hotel and staff were good quality, I would probably not return due to the location and wifi issues.
