Occupying the same city block as the Altis Grand (but around the corner and up the hill), the Altis Prime has a modest street presence. The lobby is little more than the reception desk—but staff there are professional, efficient, and incredibly helpful. The decor is industrial-chic rather than luxe, but it worked. The location is solid in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of interesting restaurants. We booked a “Superior Apartment” which was only a little more expensive than a “Studio Apartment” and were delighted with the spacious accommodations. There was a kitchenette, dining area and sitting area that were separate from the bedroom. The bathroom was huge. There were multiple large closets and other storage areas. There were abundant electrical outlets that accommodated multiple types of plugs and plentiful USB ports. The WiFi was fast with easy logons. The room was immaculate and in excellent repair. The bed was comfy and the room dark and silent, resulting in excellent sleep quality. The breakfast buffet is served in a small room off the reception area; although there is probably seating for no more than 20-30, it was ample during our stay. That small buffet had a remarkably large selection which included scrambled eggs and bacon; in addition, omelets and other hot dishes were prepared on order. I was impressed that the two visible staff provided such awesome and gracious service. This hotel is a solid choice. Were I to return to Lisboa, I’d unquestionably stay here again.

We had a great stay in a very nice suite, some things were a little worn or used but the whole place was spotlessly clean. To have a sitting room and a large bedroom is great. The staff were great and they arranged a bottle of sparking wine and pastel de nata prior to our arrival (I be paid for this) It is a good quiet location and there is next to no noise at all in the rooms if the window are closed, you sometimes forget you are in the city It’s a steep walk up from the main drag (Av. da Liberdade) for one street but this can be countered by using the metro (Rato/Marquis de Pombal close by and Avenida on the main drag) We would not hesitate to stay here again Great hotel

“VERY GOOD, CONVENIENT AND COMFORTABLE STAY!”

This is a great hotel for Lisbon at the price-range! Big, clean rooms, very good and helpful staff and a very convenient location. Sister hotel Altis Grand is round the corner and guests can use its facilities (gym, indoor pool etc) free of charge. And all for a very reasonable price. Highly recomm… more
