First: kind, multilingual, helpful staff. I feel like this is my home away from home. Second: the best location: walking distance to downtown, historical locations, many restaurants and shops. Rooms are perfect: clean, comfortable, little fridge, good closet space, good lighting, can regulate heat and fan in the room, curtains cover lights completely, electric pitcher to boil water, dryer. Spacious showers with great water pressure. Restaurant has a deck with view on park and river. Food is affordable and yummy. Lots of free events. Assortment of 3 different pillows. Gym and sauna. Difficult to schedule massage. Sometimes lights in the bathroom are too bright. They offer free bottled water. I feel safe and comfortable here. They watch for our safety too.

The best panorama of the city, we had amazing time in this hotel while visiting the city with beautiful panorama view of the city from our room, close to everything only walking distance to the old town, the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. “Good location just outside the old town”

This hotel is located just outside of the old town and can be reached by taking the airport bus to the centre and then a single tram out. This hotel is located just outside of the old town and can be reached by taking the airport bus to the centre and then a single tram out. It's located close to the river and many of the rooms have a river view. You are also close to the Tumski bridge, cathedral island and the illusion museum as well as on a direct tram line to the zoo and concert hall. Staff were friendly and check-in and check-out was fast and simple. Its function room and restaurant are clearly popular with weddings and other such events so don't be surprised if there are lots of people about. There are two versions of rooms - those that have been refurbished (like the initial photos) and those that have not and retain the original decor from when the hotel was built about 25 years ago. It is a big hotel so renovation is clearly going to take some time so you are more likely to get one of these rooms. They are clean and well maintained but dated (look through the room photos and you will see). Reasonably priced though and minibars in rooms with sensible prices i.e. not the corner shop but not rip-off either.
