“Traveling solo with a dog”

Everything from room, facilities, service, to food and the little extras were great. Plus!!! Traveling with a dog here is a real pleasure. Usually hotels just charge extra and don’t provide anything. It was so nice to arrive into a room with a dog bed and bowls prepared.

The intercontinental Warsaw is a fantastic hotel which is well located near the central station, the Palace of Culture & Science and Złote Tarasy, you can easily walk to the Old Town or Nowy Swiat. Taxis to the airport are relatively cheap costing under £10 each way with the likes of Uber, FREENOW or Bolt. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with USB wireless chargers a bathtub and shower. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great with a wide range of breads, pastries, waffles, pancakes, salads and hot breakfast items. However, the one criticism we had was the swimming pool only gives you 1 hour access per night which is a little strange for a massive hotel. The gym was well stacked with every type of machine you could want. But the swimming pool access should be better for a 5* hotel. Thank you for a great stay Intercontinental we will be back.

We have stayed at InterContinental Warsaw many times this stay was our seventh visit, the reception process was fast, professional and the staff were friendly and polite. We received the added bonus of an upgrade as I have the IHG One Rewards Diamond Elite Ambassador Status. Our room located on the 29th floor had an amazing view of the Center of Warsaw. The room was large and everything was really clean. It’s always a great welcome to receive something special from the hotels management but this time sadly no welcome gift, we missed having the usual thoughtful gesture acknowledging loyalty. The bed was comfortable with crisp linen, you may want to choose from a different set of pillow as our pillows were far too soft, found this out during a disturbed night's sleep. The hotel does provide a perfect pillow menu which we will select from to ensure next time we have a peaceful night’s sleep. The tea and coffee making facilities were stored on a shelf in the cupboard, using these in-room amenities was not easy the display area was not illuminated and the wardrobe doors got in the way. Trend is to keep desk / work surfaces clean and clear but also important to a guest is the tea and coffee making tray being easily located for convenience. The bathroom had a walk in shower and a bath, nice towels and Byredo bath and body products. The bathrobes definitely the most worn-out bathrobe you'll ever see in a five star hotel. The mini bar/ fridge was close to the bed and unfortunately it was quite loud making a humming noise during the night which was slightly annoying. The swimming pool was a highlight, a standout feature of the InterContinental Warsaw. We loved our visit to RiverView Wellness Centre enhanced our stay offered fabulous City views, great pool and great jacuzzi. Staff were polite and helpful. The facilities were clean and beautiful. Very happy with the new booking system easy to make a reservation via a QR code. The changing rooms were a high standard, well maintained, immaculately clean, great amenities, fantastic modern Hansgrohe Raindance 3jet adjustable showers a full pampering experience. Enjoyed privileged access to Club InterContinental it is a perfect place that adds a special touch to the overall experience, great views, bright peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and attentive to any request or query you have. Striking and beautiful large fresh flower displays added to the luxurious ambience. We took breakfast in Downtown Restaurant, a generous buffet with a great variety of premium options, good fresh orange juice, superb coffee, also a nice special treat to have sparkling wine available. The breakfast staff were so busy and the service was a little slow, it was not a huge issue. All in all a great stay, superb location, and we enjoyed a very helpful and courteous attitude from all the staff.
