Very warm and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts (although you have to be there early if you want the delicious seeded honey bread!) Very clean. Duvets appeared to be thin, but more than warm on November nights. Remarkably little noise from other guests/cleaners. We'd read about noise from the trams… more

Very warm and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts (although you have to be there early if you want the delicious seeded honey bread!) Very clean. Duvets appeared to be thin, but more than warm on November nights. Remarkably little noise from other guests/cleaners. We'd read about noise from the trams outside, but that didn't really bother us. Very convenient for Planty, Old Town, railway station, trams to everywhere in the area, with interesting walks through the Old Town to Kazimieri. Highly recommended.

“Gorgeous hotel in a prime area but….”

I absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed in an above basic room which took my breath away, and the food here is absolutely delicious. I absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed in an above basic room which took my breath away, and the food here is absolutely delicious. So much so, we ate here just about everyday for dinner and the breakfast was superb. One major advantage but could also be considered a curse is that it is right across the street from the train station. If you are a light sleeper this will be a major drawback; if sound is not that big of a deal then don’t pass this place up and pay the little extra to get the better room. You won’t regret it.

The hotel is conveniently located, short walk to the train station (we arrived by train from Warsaw) and also walking distance to the Old Town through the park. The hotel is conveniently located, short walk to the train station (we arrived by train from Warsaw) and also walking distance to the Old Town through the park. Check in was quick and efficient, perhaps could have been more friendly. Rooms are spacious and well appointed, the hotel is an old building and retains that ambience. Our room faced the tram station, and some noise inevitably filters through the windows - though it didn't disturb our sleep. We had a late evening flight out of Krakow, and the hotel gladly held our bags after checking out in the morning. Overall good value, particularly when booked directly online in advance.
