“Best Hotel in Krakow and Europe for the Price!”

Over 30 years vacationing in 15 countries, I have never stayed at a luxury hotel for the same price as a tiny room anywhere. The 700- yr. old building is directly on Cloth Hall Market Square. The room had a king-size bed, 2 nightstands with lamps, 2 wing chairs, dresser with 6 drawers and mini fridge, chifforobe, full length mirror, desk, chair and many outlets. The bathroom had a large shower with great water pressure and hot water. Extra-large towels, terry robes and slippers. The room was decorated with elegant draperies, matching bedding and wallpaper. Wonderful air conditioning. Free bottled Perrier in room daily. The hotel has 16 rooms, so they cater to their guests with sincerity and graciousness. The front desk staff were always nice and helpful, our thanks especially to Brygetta, Miro and Natalie. We were upgraded to the morning breakfast. The hotel has its own restaurant, the Amalia, we had several wonderful dinners there. Breakfast was served in a large room, or outside under the umbrella tables directly on the Square. The buffet was generous with juices, breads, pretzels, croissants, butter, jams, whole fruits, yogurt with granola and berries, Crème Brule with berries, meat, cheeses, cereals, pastries Or, you could order a hot breakfast from their menu. That meal was large enough for 2 people and it was delicious. The wait staff were always friendly. We received our bottle of Prosecco as an Expedia member. It was a true time capsule of Krakow. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

My husband and I stayed in a spacious, comfortable, clean and elegant Executive Suite at the Bonerowski Palace, an historic boutique hotel on Kraków’s Main Market Square. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient to Kraków’s Old Town while also being very quiet. We enjoyed both the breakfast buffet and the included gourmet a la carte breakfast in the lovely and quiet dining room with lovely views of the square. The dining and front desk staff all were very helpful, friendly and accommodating and went well out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We appreciated the personal attention provided by a smaller boutique hotel and especially want to commend Brigida at the front desk, porter Josha and the older gentleman who was a combined concierge, guard, porter and greeter who provided us very generous bag lunches when we went to Auschwitz-Birkenau for the day.

This hotel has what you’d need for a great stay in Krakow. The location is unbeatable - old town, just off the main square. Our rooms were on the side street so it was very quiet despite the fantastic location. We had two rooms next to each other, which I requested in advance. The reception staff were incredibly responsive and prompt when I emailed some queries before the trip. Staff were fairly polite - our only real interaction was when we were coming and going over the 5 nights we had there. I would say that it felt a little impersonal for a small hotel in this regard as staff were a little ‘cool’ in their manner. The hotel is very pretty and very clean. The rooms are ornate in terms of furnishings - lots of dark wood, brocade and florals - which gave it a grand feel. The bed was comfortable and the rooms very spacious. I had very good sleeps - beds ideal. I think you’d need two duvets if sharing the bed as it would have been a tight fit for a couple. I liked the chargers in the bedside drawers - so convenient! The rooms had plenty of amenities and great coffee machines. I would have liked a little more light in places but that’s minor. The bathroom was very small for such a grand room (one of the rooms was particularly big) but well equipped. The shower suited me as I am only 5’1 but my 6’2 son found it a little lacking in height. We didn’t take the breakfast option because we didn’t want to be tied to the hotel. There are numerous restaurants nearby which sell breakfast until 12pm. We used the spa facility. Guests need to let reception know that they wish to use it about an hour before. The spa was small but very well stocked with towels and water, and the sauna was lovely. We were lucky as the hotel seemed quiet and we had the spa to ourselves. The only downside for me was that the rooms allow pets and I had allergic reactions in my room despite the cleaning that had taken place. I would recommend this hotel - old school/world feel about it with an unbeatable location.

Stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel. Perfectly placed right next to the square. We stayed B&B and the breakfasts were lovely, small selection of cereals, fruit and pastries as you go in and a breakfast menu that is cooked to order is also included. The staff are helpful and friendly, rooms cleaned to a high standard. Only 1 pillow per person, requested second pillows that were speedily delivered. We had a lovely stay.
