As others have said the location of this hotel is great. 5 minutes to the castle and Main square. 10 minutes directly down to the Jewish Quarter, and 15 minutes the opposite direction is the main shopping Galleria. I found breakfast quite adequate although some items remain a mystery to me and maybe some labelling would help? I had a single room which was actually bigger than many I have stayed in with a queen size bed, although the shower cubicle was a little on the tight size for an average person. My room was clean on arrival and remained so throughout my 5 day stay. Staff were happy to answer any questions. Yes there is noise from the tram stop outside, (as well as vibrations) but this is a compromise for such a well situated location. What the hotel does lack is social spacing to relax in the evening. The very small bar had only 4 high tables with bar stools which given the average age of those staying whilst I was there isnt really ideal There were a few more practical seats to the side of reception but this area was dominated by a large television which seemed to have local news on each time I passed through. I have no complaints about the Best Western and found it value for money for a visit to the Christmas Market but be aware there are a couple of things to consider when deciding whether this is the hotel for you.

Really good location if you discount the tram stop.out side !! Rooms are compact but clean and perfectly adequate for our 4 day stay, breakfast was 07.00 to 10.00 the usual choice of hit and cold on offer 🙂 staff were really helpful at all times, only down side woukd be the tram line out the front, if you can ask for a room at the back 😉

The location of this hotel is excellent, literally a five-minute walk in one direction to the Castle and five in the other to the Square and 10 minutes to the Jewish Quarter and I do not think we could have picked a more perfect location. The staff were extremely friendly and very very helpful, giving tips on how to get around and directions and advising where to visit. They were also very quick and helpful to sort out any problems and I would give them a Five Star rating. The cleanliness of the hotel however did not come up to the same level and we had change rooms on arrival, which thankfully they were able to do straight away. I would also recommend anyone who is a light sleeper to request a room at the back of the hotel as the noise from the trams is quite obtrusive. The breakfast was also excellent. Regardless of a couple of issues I would stay in the hotel again and would recommend for anyone wanting somewhere central to stay.
