“Fantastic pisco sour”
We came to Gran Hotel Bolivar for its famous pisco sour and it did not disappoint. We ordered two different flavors. Both were really good. They were much stronger than the cocktails I'm used to. The view of the streets from the bar was very good too.

“Pisco sour dream”
A Legendary place that is open since 1924 all the celebrities from Spain and Latin America were there, lots of actors and actresses from Mexico especially Maria Felix La Doña. It's a must-do in Lima Go for the Pisco Catedral

“Lovely old hotel but can be noisy from street traffic and music as the Windows are single glazed.”
I love the Bolivar, have stayed there twice. It's a bit tired in places but that's ok, part of the charm of staying in an old hotel. I found all the staff lovely and helpful and the room was clean, the Chamberlain did an excellent job. The breakfast was not very exciting. Coffee, juice and egg... more
