“Excellent location, clean, friendly/accommodating staff.”
Excellent location, very friendly and accommodating staff (thanks Nicole). We booked late and arrived rather late, the hotel was pretty fully so pricing wasn't too competitive (but acceptable enough). I can't really think of any reasonable critique to add.

“Lovely old, classic hotel ”

Easy 2-minute walk from the train station to this lovely hotel. Check-in was fairly easy. The staff here were all very friendly at all hours. There was one lift to the rooms. The room was large, pleasant, and well lit. The bed was actually two beds with ~3-inch gap between them, so not conducive to snuggling; also watch what you set on the bed as it could easily fall between the beds. Regardless, the beds were comfortable and there was a nightstand on each side. Unfortunately, there were no easily accessible power outlets at bedside; a simple power hub on each nightstand would be an easy way to allow guests to charge devices at bedside in this modern age of electronics. The room had a mini fridge and electric tea kettle. The bathroom had lovely marbled tile throughout, and a shower/tub combo. The shower water pressure was good and the hot water stayed hot for the duration. There was a wash cloth--nice to have! The towels were large and thick! And there was a wall-mounted magnifying mirror--excellent! Though the mirror light didn't work, the bathroom was well lit. The WiFi connection was rather slow (but workable @ 7 mbps download & 7 mbps upload) and not password protected (boo!). The hotel bar is beautiful and worth enjoying with a drink from their outstanding cocktail menu! The hotel location is within an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants that this beautiful city has to offer. I would happily return.

The Parkhotel Laurin in Bolzano, Italy is a true gem, brimming with old-world charm and elegance. My spacious room was adorned with unique, original artwork, each piece accompanied by a thoughtful description that added a personal touch to the experience. Dinner under a large tent in the lush garden behind the hotel was memorable, with every dish impressing. Breakfast was equally delightful, with options to enjoy your meal in the dining room or out on the front porch. A made-to-order menu plus a generous buffet created the perfect start to the day. All in all, Parkhotel Laurin is a wonderful experience, blending its long history (it was founded in 1910) with warm hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
