TITLE: A wonderful surprise in a lovely city! This hotel is located in a quiet area of the city where I felt very safe. This hotel was not only less expensive than the big name chain hotels, but provided a service that was unquestionably the best I've ever had in Paraguay. This is a place that is almost hard to describe! The rooms are all very large suites, with ample seating area in the first room, an enormous and luxuriously comfortable king-size bed, and a nice-sized bathroom, all impeccably clean. As is always important for me when evaluating, the check-in service was excellent. Everyone from the receptionists to the wait staff to the housekeeping people were all genuinely friendly, and they went out of their way to please. This hotel has just a few rooms on each floor, and each floor is decorated in classic local decor. The food at the restaurant was beyond excellent, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in all of my many trips to South America. I can only say that when in Asuncion again, I will not even bother checking out the many options; Hotel Villa Morra Suites will be my choice. After three days I was disappointed to leave and promised to return."

Villa Morra Suites is in the Villa Morra area in central Asuncion. Villa Morra Suites is in the Villa Morra area in central Asuncion. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and bus 31 connects the hotel with the central bus terminal in 15-20 minutes (4,5 kilometres). The hotel is a lovely oasis in the city with a small pool area, a garden and plenty of trees. The room was big with a living room, a bedroom, and a kitchenette with a mini-bar, microwave and a coffee maker. The huge bed was comfortable and the double windows kept most of the street noise out. Breakfast was amazing. Served in a beautiful restaurant with big glass windows. A lot to choose from like yogurt, fresh fruit, plenty of bread, Belgian waffles, juices, different type of eggs, etc. Very tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Free and reasonably fast Wi-Fi. I can highly recommend the hotel.

Very nice confortable and cozy hotel!!! Rooms impecable! Service very kind and helpful !!! Definitely coming back and recommend it! Maybe with Netflix would be nicer . Muy agradable y confortable !!!! Volvería siempre y definitivamente lo recomiendo

Not sure what to say. For being one of Asuncións most expensive hotels I sincerely expected more, much more. The hotel is old , they call it boutique style, I call it overrated . 150$ for an old room with 40 year old kitchen, no wine glasses and not even a bottle opener? Furniture like straight of Barbie’s nightmare, melamine coated cheap tables etc. The toiletries literally the very cheapest on the market, no hair dryer, no decent wardrobe, the safe isn’t even fixed to the wall and no ironing board and iron? They nickel and dime you on everything, no bell-boy but a baggage cart with a huge flower pot as decoration? A reception guy looking at you idly when you unload your car? 5 stars? Overrated, cramped hotel with lots of furniture, far too many to walk freely. The girls at the reception more or less friendly, cleaning staff very friendly. Breakfast: very basic, not even at the level of a 3 star place. As I said, they try to maximize profit on the guests’ expense. Really not worth more than 60$ in my opinion. I won’t ever return but I guess they wouldn’t even care. Ahhh, it took them two das to fix the Wi-Fi which wasn’t even working in the bedroom. Really, really not impressed. Positive things: it was quiet and the cleaning was flawless.
