“Great place to stay”
I stayed here for work and it was a great stay. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Whanganui was chilly but the room was nice and warm. It’s located in easy walk of the bars and restaurants, but also near the main supermarkets if you fancy eating in. The staff are really friendly and helpf… more

“Recommend this one”
A Motel I really loved in NZ! A fantastic and very warm welcome and really wonderful rooms. I had a room with a spa and it was great. Big rooms, well maintained and very comfy. As we had a room in the back of the compound, we did not hear any traffic going by.

“Lovely motel stay”
My wife and I spent 3 enjoyable days in Wanganui staying at the Aotea Motor Lodge. I booked direct with the motel and the owners were friendly and helpful. On arrival, the owners were friendly and again helpful. We were at the very back of the motel and it was very quiet. The heat pump was very eff… more

“Good motel in Whanganui”
Very comfortable motel room, very clean. It’s large with one queen bed and one king single. Also a very big spa bath (which we didn’t use). Housekeeping was very friendly. Small kitchenette with basic dishes which was very handy (especially given there are supermarkets next door).
