“AMAZING Hotel for price, service, and location”
We had a fantastic stay at the Ibis Rotorua. Room was comfortable, service at the front desk and housekeeping were great. We had a fantastic stay at the Ibis Rotorua. Room was comfortable, service at the front desk and housekeeping were great. Location was amazing right near the lake and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. Bonus with free access to the Novotel Gym & Spa and free laundry on the basement level. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for two nights, and had a good stay. Our Platinum status was acknowledged, we the drinks voucher, some wine/chocolates, other goodies.. no room upgrade unfortunately. We were late for breakfast, and were pointed to the Novotel next door which stays open a bit longer; which was much appreciated. Easy parking (although you might not get a space), close to Eat Street with all the restaurants, close to the lake for great walks, and easy access too the town. Also have a guest laundry in the basement, if needed Check in and check out were a breeze, with very friendly service. Well worth the price for the stay we had.

An average hotel. Room had 2 beds in which we felt was unnecessary as there was barely any space to walk around. Some modern elements to the hotel but the bathroom was super outdated. An average hotel. Room had 2 beds in which we felt was unnecessary as there was barely any space to walk around. Some modern elements to the hotel but the bathroom was super outdated. The shower was horrendous. There was some pressure but there is no free holding shower head and it’s difficult keeping your hair dry if you are only having a body wash. The beds were comfy. Iron and ironing board provided in room. There is a fridge and hairdryer. Limited toiletries. There is a shower gel/ shampoo combo on the shower and also one by the sink. Large tv in room. Full length mirror. Desk area. There is a lot of noise outside the room. Free parking available on site. You can also use gym/spa facilities at Novotel next door. USB phone charger next to bed. WiFi is good. Kettle in room. Friendly staff. Overall, not a bad stay but the shower was the game changer for me.
