“Great Hostel”
Lovely big, warm, spacious room. Everything is clean with nice added touches that we weren't expecting (toaster, kettle, fridge). They have a heated outdoor pool and a lot of communal areas. “Excellent stay! ”
Stayed at XBase Rotorua with my boyfriend in a private room! The room was big, got a seperate room with a kitchenette (fridge, microwave and table with seats) + big en-suite bathroom! “Great place!”
Lovely warm and spacious room, really impressed for a hostel. Shower was great, comfy bed. Close to town. A wee bit of noise but to be expected in hostel type accommodation. Good big TV, modern decor. Nice & clean.

We booked the 5bunk 10 bed room, such a great price at $170 if on a budget. Beds were amazingly ok to sleep on just for the night that is. Base back packer Rotorua is a great place to stay as the staff are all helpfull and friendly. The rooms are in a good condition and the place quite central to the best visiting spots available.
