“Comfortable with fantastic views ”
Very nice spot, lovely view of Mount count, centrally located with good facilties. Left our coats behind and they packaged and sent them on to us. What a lovely couple, couldn't do enough for you. It was in a quiet location but only 10 minutes walk to the restaurants and shops.

“Value for money”
All the amenities were functioning and well maintained. The room size was good. There were plenty of nice restaurants, convenience stores and sightseeing options nearby. Parking was available and convenient. The room was super value for money.

“Large rooms with Mountain views & kitchenette… great value for money! ”
I spent quite a bit of time comparing accommodation in both Fox and Franz Josef, and Sunset Hotel is great value for money! “2 nights in Fox Glacier”
Internet is non-existent - nothing would load on my phone when using the internet - very frustrating. This needs sorted as paying for it. Rooms good size and comfortable but showers need fixed as hot water wouldn't run consistently only the cold water.

“Simple and old”
The rooms has are simple and a bit old. The heater was not work but the reception changed a new one for us quickly. It takes a 3-min drive to the town center. It was dark outside and we could do stargazing, which we have missed it at lake tekapo. I think it is ok as there is not much choice in fox … more
