“Great place to stay with walking distance access to all kinds of adventure opportunities”
We had a great time at the Hotel. The town is easy going. Dinner was fantastic. We had to leave super early and breakfast served at 6:30 ;am was diverse, plentiful and filling. The staff was excellent and the rooms were immaculate. Definitely a great spot on our way down the west coast.

“Great location & decent value for money”
Very convenient location, minutes from all the shops/bars/restaurants/heli locations & just a couple of turns off the highway. Far from luxury, but that's absolutely fine given the area & terrain you're likely to be exploring here. Staff at check in very helpful

“Great location, average Hotel”
Generally considered the best hotel in Franz Joseph, but very underwhelming. Rooms are motel style (which could have been acceptable if they were clean). Food is terrible. And there's no option to book without it, so be prepared to accept whatever is dished out!
