“Friendly staff . Clean”
Simple clean rooms. I booked the basic room. Most importantly friendly and helpful staff. Thank you Katie for always being ready to do that little extra to make my stay easy.!! Easy walk to the octagon shopping precinct. Note there are 2 scenic hotels and I stayed at scenic southern cross.

“Best hotel in town”
The bed excellent. The gum superb for hotel Great location being by octagon square. Restaurants close-by are good. Best pubs on octagon Speights. Down road. The town buses all close by. Long distance buses are 1/2 km away. The price on weekend as low as motels

“Always a pleasure”
Had another fantastic stay, Katie on reception was lovely and friendly, Emma and Bea were exceptional in the bar, Emma’s cocktails were superb. Our room was clean and large with great views. I always stay here when in Dunedin. I almost forgot to mention the food is great.

“Much Imporved”
Improved massively now this one is under Scenic umbrella. Hadnt stayed for a few years due to poor experience and shabby rooms, but everything about this place has now massively improved.
