Myself and my husband are just home we had the best time at the Ryad Amiran the hotel is set in a cobbled street the people are so friendly it was nice to see children playing in the streets the hotel staff are amazing from the owner the manger and the kitchen staff all are there for your every need the rooms are spot less and comfortable the breakfast was fantastic tea coffee fruit juice toasted bread sweet breads french toast pancake's donuts honestly a good start for your day we will be back in February/march time we had a lovely time couldn't fault it Thank you to all at the Ryad Amiran &spa hotel 😊

We have just flown back from this stunning ryad today and all we can say is wow! All the staff are so kind and attentive, the rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable, the rooftop is like a slice of paradise, the advice we got was brilliant all the tips on what to do and not to do really come in handy, I honestly never want to stay in a hotel ever again after staying here and we can not wait to come back! It was a really good location too, not to far from the hustle and bustle so not noisy at all, and the manager sorted out all our trips when we got there and even a privet driver so we was at easy for the minute we arrived, I can’t recommend this place enough ❤️

After a long wait at the airport we arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Naima and the wonderful ladies in the kitchen who provided us with a lovely refreshing cup of mint tea. Naima booked our excursions for us and arranged taxis for our journeys. The first night we were treated to a Hammam Spa and massage, followed by a delicious lamb and chicken tagine. We retired to our room where we slept like babies in the comfortable bed. The second and third day were filled with fun packed excursions that the hotel booked, they were reasonably priced and made the whole experience really enjoyable. Mustafa was available in the evenings to welcome us back to the hotel and make us feel welcome. When you get to the airport don’t get the global card as it is not accepted in most places, it’s better to get cash. Thank you everyone at the Ryad Amiran for making our first time in Marrakech a wonderful experience, we look forward to coming back again.

We were a party of 10, 6 adults and 4 teenagers, staying for 12 nights. The ryad is in the old part of the city, which is exactly what we wanted. There is a bit of a treck to the ryad from where you are dropped off by the taxi, which isn't very comfortable when dragging big suitcases, but this is to be expected with the narrow streets in the medina. We were met by a member of the staff, Mustapha, who helped us as much as he could, including at the ryad carrying our suitcases to the rooms up some rather steep stairs. Upon arrival we were met with some nice mint tea and the option to order food, which, given our late time of arrival, was very much appreciated. The manager Naima made sure to explain the main things we needed to be aware of and provided us with a list of the excursions we could book through them. The rooms were beautifully decorated and they were regularly cleaned. As the area is very dusty, maintaining the ryad dust-free was a constant battle the single housekeeper was fighting with variable success. Yet we have no complaints in this regard. A couple oftimes we had some issues with water reaching the top floor. The night manager tried to reset/fix the pump but sadly with no success. We managed by using the bedrooms on the second floor for showers. We had to buy massive bottles of water to 'flush' the toilet, which wasn't ideal, but it didn't spoil our stay. As we had all three of the top floor rooms, we almost felt the roof terrace was our private communal area and spent quite a lot of time there, particularly in the evenings. We absolutely loved it! The ryad is about 20minutes walk to the main square and the route is fairly straight forward when you've done it once or twice. We felt perfectly safe and comfortable walking anywhere at any time of the day or night. The food in the ryad was OK. Breakfast, however, was very uninspiring. The highlights were the one home-made item the lovely ladies were making and rotating each morning - pancakes, french toast, fried dough, etc. The aunt and niece duo who looked after the cooking and housekeeping in the whole ryad were extremely polite and always happy to accommodate, including serving us way after the time breakfast should have finished! (If I can suggest just one change, that would be to please serve freshly squeezed orange juice instead of the horrid fake thing you did offer at the time. There are oranges everywhere in Morocco and all sorts of beautiful fruit. Surely this deserves to be celebrated.) The hammam was absolutely lovely and we all enjoyed it, though I would not use the henna lady. The quality of her work is not worth paying anything at all, let alone what 4 of us did. Our biggest negative would be around the fact the ryad accepts cash only. We understand they have their reasons but would suggest to at least make this clear upon booking so guests are prepared and know what to expect. We chose to book most of the services and excursions on offer, plus some additional ones we asked the ryad to arrange for us (yes, we knew they were overpriced but decided we would go with the ease to do it through the ryad). We were grateful for the small discount they kindly provided for us when we visited the aqua park! To pay for all the activities we had booked we had to go to the cashpoint EVERY SINGLE DAY to withdraw the maximum cash allowed per day!!! For people qho hardly ever use cash, we felt this was probably our biggest nuisance, yes, worse than the low water pressure! Special mention goes to Mustapha, the night manager whom we all loved! He is a true asset to the team. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he always had a smile for everyone! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Amiran to anyone who is looking at experiencing Marrakech in a place in the medina surrounded by normal local people (we even seen a wedding or part of the wedding rituals next door). Amiran offers a simple service without much luxury, but only if you are prepared to pay for it all in CASH 😉
