“Amazingly friendly Riad centrally located, but away from the noise.”
An amazing friendly Riad, we were in the Chocolate Suite, comprising of two rooms one bathroom. The rooms had air-con and were comfortable. The small pool was a bonus especially during the afternoon when the summer temperature passed 41c. Breakfast was a typical Moroccan and scrumptious! I p… more
An amazing friendly Riad, we were in the Chocolate Suite, comprising of two rooms one bathroom. The rooms had air-con and were comfortable. The small pool was a bonus especially during the afternoon when the summer temperature passed 41c. Breakfast was a typical Moroccan and scrumptious! I particularly loved the fresh orange juice. It is centrally located, but quite at night, and some 15 minutes easy walk to the main square - be warned - a feature of Marrakech is the kamikaze moped riders. Moped riders are everywhere, and you need to keep your wits about you, especially crossing roads where there appears to be an attitude of everyone for themselves. My thanks go out to the team who thoroughly looked after us. One tip, is to as the Riad to arrange transport to and from the airport. An extra fee but well worth it.

Marvelous! We stayed with our 3 teenaged daughters that received an adjacent room to ours on the ground floor. The pictures are true. The level of service by the team, Rachid, Moed, and the ladies of the kitchen are the ones who make these reviews so great. The pool is indeed the item that draws the attention, and it's refreshing after (or during) a hot day. It's the staff that makes it so memorable, nothing was a bother, no question too late or too much, ready with advice and assistance to call locals to verify excursions, organize taxi's. The dinner at the Riad was the tastiest we had during our stay. Simply WOW. These reviews are really deserved. It can be a bit of challenge to find at first, so have that number ready so they can meet you at in the Kasbah. Merci Rachid pour tous!!

The Riad is located in a very nice neighborhood inside Medina of Marrakesh. It is small and peaceful. The Riad is located in a very nice neighborhood inside Medina of Marrakesh. It is small and peaceful. Abdallah and Rachid are very helpful and always available to help, the service and the food is excellent, rooms are nice and clean. If you go by car the best way to find the location which is close to the Riad is café Clock. You can call the guys 10 min before your arrival and they will wait there for you and they will help you with your suitcases. Parking is max 10 min walking and the guys will take you there. Overall a very nice experience. Thank you guys.

“A lovely break in Marrakech”
We really enjoyed our four night stay at Riad Shemsi. Our room was the turquoise one which was beautiful, (if a little dark for reading.) The bed was really comfortable. All the staff were brilliant, so friendly welcoming and helpful. I also did a morning's cookery lesson which I really enjoyed too… more
We really enjoyed our four night stay at Riad Shemsi. Our room was the turquoise one which was beautiful, (if a little dark for reading.) The bed was really comfortable. All the staff were brilliant, so friendly welcoming and helpful. I also did a morning's cookery lesson which I really enjoyed too. Breakfasts were delicious with fruit, yoghurt and different pastries and pancakes which set us up for the day very well. Sadly it was a little chilly for a dip in the pool which was a pity , though as we left I believe they were installing some heating.
