“Perfect oasis within the madness of Marrakech”

Stayed at the Riad Rafaele & Spa after a pretty full on couple of weeks touring around Morocco and what a way to end an amazing holiday in an amazing country. The Riad is a welcome oasis of peace and tranquillity in the madness and mayhem (in a good way !) of Marrakech. Ideally located in the Medina and close to markets and many must see attractions, the Riad is beautifully and sympathetically furnished to make it the luxurious retreat that it is. Spotlessly clean and appointed with the staff being so so welcoming, friendly, approachable, funny and informative you really could not find a better located Riad with such a warm team. Thank you all and especially Thomas, Ibrahim (the saffron has landed safely in the UK – thank you !), Houssine and Roudiane (hope we’ve got the right names for the right people, but you know who you are !) who made it so special.

“wonderful time”
We really enjoyed staying at Riad Rafaele, its renovated very original and authentic. staff were really friendly specially Rizwan he was exceptional, our room was really clean, also breakfast was really good. we used marrocan hamam and massage which was refreshing and relaxing

“Best room I ever stayed in”
Certainly a little gem of a riad stayed here 2 nights before atlas mountains trek and one night after can honestly say the room was the best I've ever stayed in absolutely fabulous and the staff are awesome and very attentive can highly recommend this riad

“A Diamond in the Heart of the Medina”

We chose Riad Rafaele for its fantastic location, in easy walking distance to the stand out attractions within the Medina. Our stay exceeded all our expectations. Thomas and Valerie are both exceptional hosts who take time to know their guests. They have created a stylish and tranquil home away from home, and their passion for Marrakesh and its unique charm is displayed throughout the Riad. What made it truly special for us was the incredible team that looked after us during our stay. We received the warmest welcome from Brahim (who deserves a very special mention!). He and Houssin, Adil and Redwan treat you like you are their extended family: nothing is too much trouble, they are a gold mine of local knowledge and tips which for first-timers to Marrakesh was invaluable. We spent an afternoon in the spa and had the hamman and massage package which provided the perfect balance for someone looking for both authenticity and luxury. We felt truly pampered, and the masseuses were two of the very best I have experienced (with plenty of experience of spas back in the UK!). I would also highly recommend eating at the Riad – the breakfasts were exceptional and the homemade kefta was the best meal we had! Thank you so much for making our experience so much more than we could have hoped for – we look forward to coming back to Riad Rafaele very soon!
