Had a lovely morning at the lotus riad! We booked to have a couples hamam through our hotel, and wish we could have stayed here all day. Definitely recommend taking some money with you if you'd like to have lunch, unfortunately we didn't plan ahead. We were greeted by a friendly man from our taxi and followed him down some alley ways to the most beautiful oasis. The riad is gorgeous, a tranquil pool surrounded by orange trees. We were given fresh orange juice on arrival, then taken upstairs to change into our robes (do wear swimwear underneath). We then had a wash with black soap, a full body scrub and a body clay mask before the best massage of our lives! Afterward we were provided with tea and biscuits while we were offered to stay for lunch (no pressure) or to have our transport booked to go back to the hotel. Definitely recommend for anybody passing through Marrakech, this place is a dream!

On our first trip to Marrakech we were impressed with the staff at this well located Riad. They responded to my request to provide transport from the airport as we were arriving at night and it does take time to get used to the lay-out of the city. We were the only guests for the first three days and were asked to move to the more upmarket Riad Lotus Privilege ( 5 minutes away and site of the hamam) on the final day. Perle is comfortable and the furnisings have been well described in other reviews. As the weather was chilly for the first few days, we took breakfast inside, and Hakim could not have been more helpful. Marrakesh is not Madrid or Manchester and one should not try to make comparisons based on respective cultures but Perle is asafe bet to stay in Marrakech. It is also handy for the Souks and a fantastic Riad which serves wonderful food- Maison Arabe.

We had the pleasure of spending five days at the Riad Lotus Perle. We were very pleased with the location inside the Medina. You really get a feel for Merrakech by having to walk through the souk to get to your riad. You pass the fresh food, fish, meat and vegatable stands as you enter an alley filled with people. You are up close and personal with local people the entire time you spend at this location.
