Stayed in this riad with my husband for 4 nights and i couldnt fault this hidden gem. Beautiful room was amazing. Mustafa and the lady (sorry didnt get her name) couldnt of been more wonderful. Mustafa said to make this our home and he even allowed our friends who stayed in a different riad into our room and up on the roof terrace. The roof was a great sun trap with plenty of seating. The breakfast was amazing not to much and not to little. The both of them couldnt of made us feel more welcome and i would definately returm to the beautiful place

My husband and I stayed at this riad for four days. The caretaker is Ahmed, and he made our trip extra special. The riad itself is extremely clean and a place of great calm. There is a tiny swimming pool right outside our door that is a delightful, refreshing way to end a day in the medina. A lovely breakfast is served every morning, and Ahmed goes out of his way to make sure that all of our needs are met. We felt very cared for, and frankly Ahmed’s care was one of the most special parts of our trip. We felt like VIP guests, and every request was met with the most gracious of responses. The owner of this riad went to great lengths to ensure that the home has everything you would need and to make it a beautiful place, but Ahmed was here constantly ensuring that we felt safe, comfortable, connected, informed, and valued. Great value for a wonderful experience.

Although Marrakech as a city did not live up to our expectations, Riad Les 5 Soeurs did ! If you are definite and have chosen to go to Marrakech to stay in a Riad we could not imagine to go elsewhere than Les 5 soeurs. A renovated ancient house, formerly owned by five Morrocan sisters, is now managed by Abdelowahed and his fantastic 4-person staff of mixed Berber and Arabic origin. You will feel safe here. NOTE : REMEMBER TO BE PICKED UP AT THE AIRPORT OR AT LEAST CALL THE RIAD'S NUMBER UPON ARRIVAL TO BE PICKED UP AT THE NEAREST CITY GATE. We chose neither, and ended up wandering bewildered around the Medina late at night. Our wrong choice resulted us getting a wrong first-impression of the nice neighbours, who we mistakenly thought wanted to rob us when they only wanted to help. Also remember that it is quite customary to give a coin or two for a helping direction, chances are that you will only have large notes with you when coming straight from the airport, another reason to opt for an arranged pick-up at the airport upon arrival. Service at Les 5 soeurs is swift, quick and welcoming, from the booking itself to the reception and accommodation. You will definitely feel at home here, clean, good tastely decorated with Morrocan detail. We stayed in the Red Room. Heating is modern and works good to balance out the effects from the cold nights. Lovely bathroom with a good pressure from the shower head. Wifi works in public areas but less in the rooms. The Riad is larger and cosier than other Riads we visited in the area and where some of our friends chose to stay. Bed linen is good, however, a crunchy plastic mattress felt disturbing at times. Sound travels very easily through this building, which could be interesting from a tourist perspective, but unfortunate from the perspective of privacy. Be prepared for wake-up calls from the nearby mosques at 0430 hours and then rooster/mosque duetto from 0530 hours onwards. Muezzin-calls are heavily amplified, which distorts the feeling of "authenticity", but this is a nuisance one simply has to learn to live with when staying in the medina. Food at the Riad is great and local. Rather than wasting time at food stalls in the city we recommend that you dine at the Riad while learning how to cook Moroccan from the Riad's staff. For Breakfast you can expect ample amounts of bread, marmelade, omelettes and Moroccan pancakes - and of course, lovely coffee and mint tea. We stayed for 5 days in January 2012

Nice and clean rooms, (one room had only cold water during our stay) very tasty breakfast which we had in the sun up on the roof. The staff (the cook and the waiter) was so charming and very helpful. The manager was helpful too, but made too much stress around money and payment. It's a good idea to let guests put down their suitcases before you demand them to pay and discuss currentcy. The riad is situated in a busy, but pretty quiet street. But it's still an explostion of impressions. Walking the 20 minutes to the main squere is a big adventure. Every time.
