We will come back and recommend for sure.

Stayed here for a night during my first trip to Morocco/Marrakech with my boyfriend. Not a luxury riad, but charming and clean (and good price!). Great location and very close to the Jemaa el Fna. Our room was exactly as requested through booking.com. Shortly after reserving, the management emailed me asking if I wanted to arrange an airport pickup. We agreed and this worked out well/was very helpful upon our arrival. This riad appeared to be all women managed (perhaps women-owned?) which was nice to support. The staff that we interacted with didn’t speak much English, but were very nice and accommodating. Upon our departure, the manager ordered a taxi pickup for us at the closest location outside the Médina. When no handler was available to hire for hauling our luggage to the taxi, she personally walked us to the taxi and insisted upon wheeling my suitcase for me. I would recommend this riad!

“Lovely Riad”
This is a great Riad very close to the main square. An ideal location in the heart of the medina to explore all the souks and the little alleyways. This is a great Riad very close to the main square. An ideal location in the heart of the medina to explore all the souks and the little alleyways. The Riad was very clean, the staff were very friendly (the lady did Henna tattoos for my teenage daughters for 50dH each (much cheaper than the ones out on the square). The breakfast was simple but tasty. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The water in the pool was cold but it was February when we stayed so it wasn’t very hot anyway but im sure in the middle of summer the pool would be a lovely way to finish off a day of exploring!! Would definitely return to stay here for a visit to experience proper Marrakech rather than stay in one of the bigger hotels outside of the medina.

We arrived at around 11am and were dropped on a nearby street and met by a porter with a narrow who loaded our luggage and led us the short (5 min) walk through the back streets the Riad. Unfortunately there was no manager there to greet us on a member of staff who spoke no English. I do realise the failing is on our part that we don’t speak the local language and should not expect the hotel to speak English. The porter communicated to us that the manager would be in at 6pm for us to check in properly. The Riad was exactly as expected very clean and traditionally Moroccan. The lady presented us with a lovely steaming hot pot of Mint tea which was drank beside the plunge pool. We were led to our small, but perfectly adequate, room. The air conditioning was amazing and you soon became totally unaware of the searing heat outside. We stayed in the “Atlas” room which had a lovely king size, very firm bed. The only issue was that there wasn’t really enough room for all of our clothes and cases etc.... we had packed light as we were only staying for 2 nights, if you are staying for longer I guess you would be tripping over things. At 5, 7 and 8 the manager still had not appeared so we grabbed an early night. The next morning we were presented with a lovely breakfast and coffee, which we really enjoyed. The evening before I had watched the bread being made in the kitchen whilst we waited for the manager, so I know it was traditional and hand made. We had hoped that the manager would be around as we wanted to book tours through the company that the hotel recommended. Sadly we didn’t meet up with him until that evening, by which time we had already booked a tour with another local company. When we finally met the manger, who was a very young, pleasant man, we paid our city tax and for the transfers to and from the airport. The transfers cost only 20 euros each way, I would highly recommend booking these as you are then guided to the Riad. We didn’t eat in the Riad as, although there were signs everywhere saying food was available all day, we were out about exploring the Médina most of the time. All in all it was great value for the money, the Riad is literally a 2 min walk from the Jemaa El Fna and the Souks. Food is readily available everywhere. You can choose to breakfast on the roof terrace and over look Jemaa El Fna.
