All-Inclusive Regulations in the Balearic Islands…
On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

I can't recommend this place enough.

We had the most wonderful experience at this Riad . The house its self is lovely and a haven from the noise and bustle of Marrakech- the public areas are clean and pretty - the rooms are small and basic but comfortable all the same - its a budget stay and I think excellent value for the price . But the best bit was the welcome that we received - we were made to feel as if we were friends visiting from overseas rather than clients . Before we went I read the previous review below and was a little concerned - however our experience was vastly different - we couldn't possibly have been better looked after. We were given tips and suggestions on where to visit, the best way to get there and how to deal with unwanted attention from street hawkers(which was invaluable) . As for the location - its in the middle of the Medina - do not expect clean wide boulevards - this is an area that cars , scooters, donkey carts and pedestrians battle for space in tiny alleyways - that is the Marrakech experience and part of its charm!

Stayed here for 4 nights before moving onto the mountains. It was quite due to location and time of year, but we loved our stay. The room was heated by a fan heater which was needed at night. The bathroom was clean, only difficulties where with slow draining shower and poor water temperature control, so shower lacked in omph! Really that's all we can grumble about the room is small as was billed, but it is a smaller road, and for the price we weren't complaining. the rest of the road was tastefully decorated and clean, the terrace was nice in the morning before hitting the hussle and bussle of the city. Unless your very comfortable navigating Marrakech with a map consider organising airport transfer with the owner. Hakiem was lovely and very friendly dispute our terrible attempts at French, he spoke enough English for us to get by, we were aware it was a French speaking riad before. The cook prepared a simple but tasty traditional Marrakesh breakfast of breads and conserved and lovely mint tea. This was always ready at the time we arranged. I must recommend you ask Hakiem to organise a meal at the riad, this was our best meal all week, with tasty salads to begin and aromatic tagine. Big servings as well. Overall for the price we payed we were very happy, it was a peaceful haven away from the hassle the streets sometimes brings. The owner was very helpful and if we spoke. More French we could have utilised his tour guiding skills better, however we already had planned our days. Not that easy to find. Owing to the part of town its in and mischievous kids, but if you've been to marrakesh before you'll know to ignore them.

My friend and I stayed here from 19th August - 26th August 2017. We took a taxi from near to the airport. ( dont take it from the airport itself, walk to the road away from the airport and negotiate a rate). Arrived at Le Nid de la Columbe and we were greeeted by Hakim, the manager. I've read the reviews on here and i have to say that travellers must remember these people are managing a riad on behalf of a 'landlord' (usually french people) and paid a low salary to do so. Also your attitude matters too! Be friendly, inititate conversation and use manners, just as you would visiting a friends home. Introduce yourself and show you are polite and respectful it goes along way! Hakim and his wife are lovely. The riad was clean (- in fact moroccans are always cleaning) and tidy, friendly and welcoming. We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfasts are moroccan and plentiful! Msemmen, pancakes , french bread and cake, with jam, butter and lovely hot coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Really delicious!! If you are looking for a traditional basic riad to stay in this is it. Its location is within a small winding path similar to a souk with a couple of small shops selling basics eg bread, jam, cigarettes, water and sodas. You arrive in the main square near a primary school, and a taxi stop. Then you walk along a winding road passing an excursion/trips around morocco shop, which I can highly recommend. As you continue to walk along, the mosque and the bakery are in a little square along with 2 small shops. The Riad is then on the right at the lamp then right again through a dark alleyway. Sometimes teenagers loiter there and if you are female, expect some cat-calling and verbal name calling at times. Nothing serious but as females travelling alone it could be a bit upsetting.Keep your mobile ready to take a photo if this happens and report it to the police or Hakim! He will definitely sort the issue for you!! The riad is number 22. The rooms clean and basic. The bedrooms surround the central area and are decorated in a moroccan style. The beds are firm (which was perfect for me) clean and qualint. Morrocan rugs lie on the floor and we had a wardrobe in the bathroom! The shower/toilet area is an area attached to the bedroom and there is no door just a sheer curtain. The shower was nice and for me and my friend the accomodation was fine. Its dry and clean due to the air and temperature of the country. There is air con which was much needed and kept us cool! I felt very 'at home' as Hakim and his wife were kind, welcoming and friendly. I personally wouldn't recommend it for families with teenagers due to the bathroom privacy issue (unless they had a room each) but from a welcoming viewpoint its great. Moroccans love small children and its adequate if you needed to stay but safety isnt the same as the UK or europe (electric sockets in the bathroom for example. If you want a taste of the real Marrakech.....book in here! Its really worth the experience, even if its for a couple of nights its worth trying. Thank you Hakim and your lovely wife for making us so welcome. xx
