“Lovely choice! INCREDIBLE host”
Its a really nice riad in the center of the city But what made my stay even better is Jawad! He is the best host and made me feel really comfortable and extended his support in anything I needed. From tending to my needs to carrying my bags with me to even his mannerism and smiling!

“Small Riad in the best part of the Marrakech Medina”

We booked 4 nights at Riad Ines Home, as part of a flight & hotel package with Opodo. We were really looking forward to our Marrakech trip, as it was originally planned for Easter 2020, but due to the COVID pandemic it was cancelled and it took us 3 years until we were able to rebook it. A few weeks before our flight, I contacted Riad Ines Home via email, to check that they had our room booking (weirdly I never do that when I book packages online, we just show up on the day, but I had a weird premonition…) and I got the response that there was no availability for those dates. I kept insisting with emails, but received no reply, and had to resort to sending messages via Whatsapp to the phone numbers listed on their website, hoping for a response. The manager, Houda, eventually responded via Whatsapp that there was an issue with a double-booking for the first 2 nights, but that she would find an alternative solution for us, and that we shouldn’t worry, and should not cancel our trip. She indeed delivered, and booked us at a neighbouring Riad for the first 2 nights (Riad Les Trois Palmiers El Bacha, see review in my profile), which was just 10 meters away from Riad Ines Home, at no extra cost. We then moved to Riad Ines Home for our last 2 nights. The Riad is quite small (we had booked it on purpose, as we wanted a more cosy and quiet experience) and has only 5 rooms set around a beautiful central courtyard with a small ornamental pool and beautiful plants. We stayed in the Bab Jdid room, on the first floor, and really enjoyed the room and the stay. The king size bed and pillows were excellent, and the window shutters guaranteed absolute darkness and a very peaceful sleep. The Riad is also far away from mosques, so the call for prayer did not wake us up at night, it was so nice and quiet. The room also has a fireplace (which I can imagine must be amazing turned on in the winter!), as well as a beautiful traditional bathtub. There is a roof terrace with chairs and tables, where you can chill out, and the staff were all very nice and friendly. The breakfast was OK, but was quite simple, local breads (sweet and savoury), butter, jam (prepacked, not fresh), orange juice, black coffee or Moroccan tea. We would have liked to see some fresh fruit (especially as there were beautiful strawberries in season and for sale in the market) and maybe plain yogurt or some eggs. On our first morning we actually asked if they could make us an omelette or fried eggs, and they said they didn’t have any, but they brought us two small fruit yogurts instead. On the second morning we were very pleasantly surprised when the staff brought us an omelette, we understood this is not something they usually offer, and they had gone the extra mile (since we had asked for eggs the previous morning), another example of how sweet they are! The Riad is located near the nicest (poshest?) street of the Medina, where all the boutiques and high-end shops are, along with Dar El Bacha, and very near the not-to-miss Jardin Secret. It’s walkable distance to all the main Marrakech attractions, and we enjoyed walking everywhere, including to further-away places such as Jardine Majorelle and the YSL museum (around 25 min walk). This area also has some of the best restaurants we ate at in Marrakech (make bookings in advance for dinner, as all the nicer places that have roof terraces get fully booked fast!). There are also some nice hammams nearby (the Riad also offers hammam and massages, but we had already prebooked ours at private hammams before we arrived in Marrakech, hence we didn’t try their services). I would definitely recommend Riad Ines Home for a quiet and chilled stay in the best part of the Medina, the staff are amazing and we’re really grateful to Houda for finding a solution and making our trip a memorable one! Air-con: Yes Fridge: No Safe deposit box: Yes Hairdryer: Yes Free Wi-Fi: Yes (at some point it stopped working, and the staff told us they had forgotten to pay the internet company, but it was soon fixed) Toiletries: Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body cream, cotton buds, makeup cotton pads Towels: Lots of all sizes + bathrobes Breakfast included: Yes Walkable distance from city center: 5-25 min walk from all important Marrakech sites Bedside tables & reading lights: Yes, on both sides Luggage racks: No, but there is a sofa that can be used to lay suitcases on Freebies: 1.5 lt water bottle, Moroccan mint tea and sweets on arrival

We booked this Riad in the heart of Medina from 06/09 to 11/09. The place was clean and the atmosphere extremely peaceful. When we arrived, Farid was kindly welcoming us. He showed us around the place, then he sit up with us, served their typical Mint Tea (with some delicious cake) and explained everything we need to know about the area and the services provided by the Riad. He was extremely helpful and friendly, anything we needed he was there to help. The Hotel is providing services like Hamam, massages, transport to airport and day(s) tour around Marocco. The others two ladies working mainly in the kitchen and as a housekeeping were very nice, despite the fact that they weren't speak English. Medina Market is very busy and noisy, but when we came back to our Riad we always felt at HOME. Since the first day Farid was welcoming us telling "MY HOME IS YOUR HOME" and this is exactly how we felt.

This was my first time visiting Morocco and I’m glad we chose to stay at Riad Ines home. It felt comfortable like a home away from home. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel safe. Farid who works nights was extremely helpful in ensuring we knew our way around, gave the best suggestions for local restaurants and attractions as well as providing us with hotel contact numbers to ensure we kept safe and in case we needed further assistance whilst out. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, will definitely stay again when visiting Morocco in future.
