Experience a genuine welcome from Madam and Mustaffah in this wonderful traditional Riad located in a secluded maze of lanes so close to the souk. Don't worry about finding it, you will be met and helped with your luggage, nothing is too much trouble. Once inside, the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing, the rooms are excellent, the breakfast is freshly prepared using local produce and can be enjoyed in the open courtyard or on the roof terrace. You will be very well looked after and everything is within easy walking distance, and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Truly a great place to stay and enjoy real Moroccan hospitality.

We stayed at Riad Bitbtia for 6 nights. The location is wonderful - a few minutes' walk from the souks and Jemaa-el-Fna square. It is hidden in the narrow back streets but we were met by Mustafah at our taxi drop off. We were concerned at first about about finding our way back, but we very quickly got to know the route, with a few judicious photos on our phones to remind us where to go at the most tricky junctions. In any case, managing the warren of backstreets is surely part of the Morrocan experience! The building itself is very traditional and comfortable. The central courtyard stays very cool is was a perfect place to socialise (we had hired the whole Riad for a family reunion). The rooms are comfortable - we did not need to uswe the air-conditioning at that time of the year, so cannot commnet on it. All rooms have their own bathroom. The hot water was not very hot, but even in November, it was not an issue as coller showers were welcome. Our rooms were cleaned on occasion during our week stay. Breakfast was copious and freshly made every day. We also had our evening meals provided. The menu was limited but all dishes were delicious, although they could have been more spiced. My husband has Coeliac disease and had a toddler and young children in our group, and our our hosts went out of their way to provide for all tastes and needs. All the staff, and Mustafah in particular were extremely helpful, and made all our bookings for us (airport transfers, day trips, hammam, etc I would stay at Riad Bibtia again and strongly recommend it.

“All you need for your trvel.”

The place is OK and has everything that you need, air conditioning works fine, water in the bathroom could be hotter but since it was 45 degrees outside a cool shower was not a bad option, nice rooftop. The place is OK and has everything that you need, air conditioning works fine, water in the bathroom could be hotter but since it was 45 degrees outside a cool shower was not a bad option, nice rooftop. The only disadvantage is that it is hard to find, we got lost every time we went out. Also Mustafa who is running the place is sometimes hard to wake up. A few times we wanted to ask him for a coffee or tea in the afternoon and he was sleeping in his room so hard that it was impossible to wake him up.
