“Lovely Riad in a perfect location ”
Stayed here for 4 nights with two friends, only a few days after the earthquake which we were a little apprehensive about but we didn't need to worry one bit! The Riad was perfect for us, staff were attentive and the location is great. Very authentic and highly recommended staying here.

“7 day holiday with friends”
Excellent Riad hidden down an alley. Very clean with efficient and friendly staff. Plunge pool for the fit (difficult to get out of). Ideal location situated on the edge of the old town. 5 minute walk to the Souks. 10 minute walk to the main square.

We are just back from a three night break in Marrakesh which we absolutely loved a wonderful city. Riad Alida is located conveniently for the Souk a short 5 minute walk and the main square and the wonderful Mosque. We stayed half board not something we would normally do but only did because we went with friends who had already booked the break before we did. The food was good but very samey you can only have so many Tagines! The breakfast was again OK but very samey and no offer of fruits which I thought strange? The room we had was very Rustic with no windows and was extremely dark and not really to our taste. The room number was 2 on the ground floor. Our friends room on the first floor was so much better. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely visit Marrakesh again but not at Riad Alida

“Characterful and charming guesthouse”
Our first impressions of this place weren't great but it's probably not their fault. We arrived very late and had to be met from the taxi in the dark of night and led down a dodgy lookin alleyway by someone who never really explained who he was and wasn't overly friendly or welcoming. Our first impressions of this place weren't great but it's probably not their fault. We arrived very late and had to be met from the taxi in the dark of night and led down a dodgy lookin alleyway by someone who never really explained who he was and wasn't overly friendly or welcoming. Not really what you want when first arriving in a place like old town Marrakesh! However the charm and character of the place won us over quick and the guy on reception was helpful when asking for WiFi and water. Breakfast was nice, dinner didn't quite hit the mark though. The beef tagine was fairly low quality meat, mostly just bone and fat. We had a much nicer one the following night in town. I have to mention that I emailed the Riad before coming to ask for a superior room and was assured I'd get one but we definitely didn't. It was adequate but I knew they had much nicer ones and the place was mostly empty most of the time we were there.
