Staying at this Riad was a fantastic experience, personalised to my needs especially as a solo traveller. I was greeted from the taxi by Abdul who carried my luggage for me as we walked through the souks to get to the accommodation. He made early breakfast for me every time I was going on an excursion and even walked me to the meeting point on the first morning so that I got straight there. Breakfast was slightly different each day too. Abdul was like a long lost uncle who looked after me. I had a sore throat one morning so Abdul made me a special tea to help soothe it. My single person room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything I needed and the shower was lush with great water flow and large water droplets coming from the large shower head. It was traditional and cultural and I probably wouldn't stay in any other accommodation if I was to visit again. There was a roof terrace too so you could chill and catch some rays. When I encountered problems with one of my excursions, Asad did everything he could to help. Just perfect service!!!

“Great Riad to be in”
Great place to get away from the modern city life. This 16th Century Moroccan house in the heart of ancient Medina has a friendly and helpful host. It’s within walking distance to the shops, eateries & everything you want. Nothing else I can think of for a get away.

We greatly enjoyed our experience at Riad Al Mamoune, from the authenticity of the charming architecture and design to the comfort of the place, through the kindness of the team and attention paid to our needs and requests as well as the great organization since the first contact established with Asad until the end of our trip. Upon arrival, Asad also gave us valuable tips and tricks on how to navigate Marrakech, and we were treated like family by Asad, Abdel Majid and the rest of the team. We highly recommend Riad Al Mamoune. J., C. & K.

Highly recommend, although only a few minutes walk from the spice market, the main square and the myriad of the souks, the Riad is quiet and tranquil. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the brilliantly knowledgable Abdul, we loved our chats and all of the insights he shared with us. Asad (the owner) made us feel immediately at home in this very traditional Riad, with suggestions of places to eat and to explore. Both Asad and Abdel were available on WhatsApp throughout our stay should we have needed them. If you are looking for a real Riad experience, where you feel part of the family, traditional Moroccan breakfasts from the ladies at the Riad who ensured we were well fed and kept everywhere clean and tidy, to the sights and smells in the markets with a calm home to come back to then this is for you. Thank you Al Mamoune team for an amazing experience. Craig and Manda

What can I say about this Riad that hasn't already been said! My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and the service and hospitality was absolutely incredible, we arrived late at night and were greeted by Abdul in the main square to walk us back to the Riad, Asad then welcomed us into the Riad and prepared a 3 course meal for us, which we had already requested, the communication with Asad prior to arriving was excellent. Anything we needed Asad and Abdul were on hand to accommodate us, whether it was tips on how to haggle, where and what to do, restaurant recommendations etc we felt so at home in the Riad. Special word about Abdul - nothing was too much to ask for and he went over and beyond to look after us, a really great guy. Keep up the good work Asad! If you're looking for a traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina then you can't look past staying here! Can't wait to come back.
