Traditional Riad, super cute, very comfortable with grest breakfast and amaizing staff. I lost my original flight and my arrival was postponed until 2am. The transport that I had arranged from the airport to the Riad never answered the phone or messages. I called the Riad and Yussef the manager promptly arranged for a driver replacement that welcomed us at the airport at arrivals with a sign. The Riad is a short 2 minutes walk off the main street. For a first time traveler to Marrakesh that short walk late at night through very narrow alleys with garbage all around and a lot of stray cats, it can be a bit intimidating. But after we see that the entire Medina is just like that and learning that Marrakesh is super safe it will only be a fun memory to account for. Abdul the night manager welcomed us with a huge smile and the first impression of the riad decor is a wow factor. Beautifully decored. Ownership did a great job. The rooms are also very traditionally decorated and the beds are very confortable. We do need to mind the voice level as the sound travels a lot through the Riad and we can hear everything inside the rooms. With only 6 rooms it is not a big issue, as most guests are considerate and respectful, and it is wonderful to wake up with the sound of the birds singing in the morning. Yussef took care of all our needs as if he was a VIP concierge. Made reservations for Hammam bath and massages, got me reservations on the most exclusive restaurants in Marrakesh and arranged a private driver for a full day tour on a Sunday. Jamal the driver was one of the highlights of our trip. Speaks fluent English, his viature was spacious and immaculate, took us to the best ateliers where he helped us get the best prices (1/4th of souks prices) and suggested what we should order at the wonderful river side restaurante. Very friendly and very personable. You should recommend his services to every guest! The ladies that cook and clean always have a warm smile when the see us. Fantastic service from everyone! They all spoke good English. They are as good as any highly trained staff from a 5 star hotel. I strongly recommend this Riad for anyone looking for a traditional experience with a personalized service and with affordable pricing. Much better experience than to go to a large luxury hotel! I will be back!

We booked to stay at Raid Al Badia on the recommendation of a friend and having read all the positive comments on here. Our experience lived up to all of that. The positive experience started even before travelling as enquiries about airport transfers and possible excursions were responded to swiftly and in detail. We would recommend the airport transfer (20 euros per vehicle) as the riad is a bit difficult to locate at first. Don’t be put off by the fact that this requires a short walk along a couple of small alleyways; we found it to be very safe and easy to navigate, even after dark. On arrival we were greeted by Abdel whose friendly welcome introduced us to what to expect from the team of four who catered for our every need over the course of our stay. Once you step through the door you enter an oasis of calm which is very welcome as Marrakech is such a bustling and lively place to spend time. We stayed in the Junior Suite which proved to be very comfortable and suited us perfectly. It had a large comfortable bed and was tastefully decorated to match the decor elsewhere in the riad. There was a large shower and everything you should expect to go with it. Towels and robes were supplied. Breakfast was served each morning in the downstairs lounge and consisted of yoghurt, fruit, bread and pastries and a daily egg option; the shakshouka was really good. Fresh orange juice, coffee and mint tea were served alongside. It’s not the enormous variety of options you would expect in a typical international hotel but if that is what you want don’t stay in a riad! We always left the table with our stomachs full and ready to take on the day. Riad Al Badia is about a 20 minute walk from Jemaa El Fna and other than the need to watch out for the endless stream of motor scooters and bikes it was a very pleasant level stroll. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone with an inclination to stay somewhere a little bit different, where character and quality of service are the most important characteristics. The team at Riad Al Badia will do all they can to make sure that your visit to Marrakech is memorable one.

We stayed with Yousef and the team for 3 nights for my birthday. I cannot recommend the Riad enough. Early communication about airport transfers (despite a delayed flight that meant we arrived in the early hours of the morning) was very helpful, email responses were really quick throughout and we were met and escorted to the riad in the early hours of the morning by Abdul. Photos of the riad are accurate with the riad itself being fantastically decorated and creating a very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere, despite the busy city outside. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, we had omelettes, sweet breads, shakshuka eggs, pancakes all beautifully prepared and arranged in the luxury lounge. On the final night we ate dinner in the hotel, and had a brilliant three course meal, which we would highly recommend. We arranged excursions (hot air balloon) through the hotel, again making the experience thoroughly stress free. Yousef was a fantastic host, providing direction and providing information on the local area. It was a perfect stay to celebrate my birthday. Thank you all. Georgia and Patrick.

We stayed at Riad Al Badia for 4 nights in May. The team were very helpful, thoughtful, friendly and really made our stay. There was one wee mistake which could have resulted in us being left feeling disappointed but they rectified it quickly and smoothly so that we still had the best experience. They helped with trip bookings, recommendations for food and all the need to know information on the local area. The riad is so peaceful and calming especially the outdoor terrace and was decorated beautifully in warm and welcoming tones. It's located in a quiet, residential area and we loved leaving the busy medina streets after a busy day into our little haven of tranquility. It's still extremely close to all the main attractions and close to lots of great restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend having a meal in the riad, the home cooked tagine was delicious, by far the best we had in Marrakech and the breakfasts were outstanding. We will definitely be back to Riad Al Badia when we next visit Marrakech.

Riad Al Badia is an oasis from the rush of the Medina. The Riad itself is very clean and decorated beautifully. I had a few stereotypical travel mishaps happen during my stay, like needing to exchange money, forgetting toothpaste, etc. The team at the Riad did not hesitate to help when I needed help with these things, they are very hospitable. I especially appreciated the detail of them going through an actual map of the whole city upon my arrival, with the best routes to get to all of the attractions explained to me. My personal favorite part was the breakfast, the perfect start to a day in Marrakech.
