“Different Christmas break”
We stayed a week at the Al Assala and enjoyed it a lot. The location is great if you want to explore the old town, and the new parts of the city is also not too far away. We stayed a week at the Al Assala and enjoyed it a lot. The location is great if you want to explore the old town, and the new parts of the city is also not too far away. The breakfast is plentiful and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the WiFi is mostly working. Some of the doors and windows are a bit worn down, so not that easy to lock, but we couldn’t quite agree if it is a problem or not, as the main door is closed and there is no other way past the receptionist, and only 6 rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others.

We love our suite, very beautiful decoration and spacious. Only draw is no privacy for the bath area, a screen to separate will be very helpful. This is another lovely place to stay, beautiful interior courtyard, centred around a pool, delightful high-ceilinged room with a super comfortable bed, a good breakfast, helpful staff and despite being seemingly too close to the main tourist areas, quiet. This is another lovely place to stay, beautiful interior courtyard, centred around a pool, delightful high-ceilinged room with a super comfortable bed, a good breakfast, helpful staff and despite being seemingly too close to the main tourist areas, quiet. With my quibble hat on, I would have preferred to be able to lock rather than bolt the room door when we went out (that’s not saying it didn’t feel safe – it does) and I would prefer a shower that is fixed on the wall (but we could still wash..). But lovely..
