“5* experience for our first time in Morocco!”
Amazing place, staff so helpful and friendly. Nothing a bother to them. Hotel has private driver, who is fantastic. Had a lovely relaxing stay in this riad. Lovely spa area, although we didn't use it. Hotel tortoise was sweet. Hamza speaks numerous languages which is very helpful!

This is a lovely authentic style Riad, full of character with beautiful architecture and furnishings. The staff are warm and friendly and cannot do enough to help you and made our trip all the more enjoyable. The swimming pool is a lovely area to sunbathe although the pool is not heated so too cold at this time of year! The food is of a high standard and typically Moracaan, however the breakfast was a little disappointing as it was exactly the same each day. It could be improved by perhaps offering some fresh fruits along with the croissants, bread and pancakes. We initially booked a deluxe room which unfortunately didnt live up to expectations, but we upgraded to a suite which was absolutely beautiful. You will need to get taxis to visit the sights and other restaurants, but these are readily available and not too expensive. We had a wonderful few days at this lovely hotel and would highly recommend.

We were immediately blown away by the beauty of this Riad. Everywhere was immaculately clean and no matter where I looked there was a piece of furniture, vase or ornament I wanted to bring home with me. The staff in this Riad are amazing and nothing was ever too much trouble. Ottman was always on hand with any queries we had and helped us to book trips and taxis. Said was there every morning with a smile while we had breakfast and even took the time to teach me a little bit of Arabic. We had a cookery lesson with the chef while we were there and Aziz helped to translate. We had the most amazing time from start to finish and this place was perfect for relaxing when not out and about. I cannot recommend this Riad highly enough, I will definitely be back to Marrakesh and this Riad will be the first place I would look to stay in.

We arrived after experiencing Ryanairs immaculate handling of losing 75% of the luggage on board our flight from Birmingham. Caseless we were greeted by Ottoman and his team including Aziz who were more than helpful and set about sending out for toothbrushss and toothpaste together with any other items we needed as the case eventually turned up 3 days later at the airport Ottoman and his staff make sure you are comfortable and any requests seen to with a friendly approach where they arrange taxis and excursions with no fuss Our room was large and although needing a few tweaks was very good during our stay The breakfast consists of fruit croissonts and breads freshly made tea and coffee to start your day The pool area washes away any stress you may have encountered getting there Probably the best pool area we have been to no loud music plenty of sunbeds including towels The property is beautifully decorated with Moroccan design and features a small bar area serving drinks and snacks throuhout the day We would highly recommend this property to any travellers Good luck to Otterman Aziz and his staff also the kittens Michael and Karen

We have just returned home from a relaxing stay at Riad El Miria. The hotel itself is very traditional, which is what I wanted. I can stay at a 5* cookie cutter hotel anywhere, anytime but for my first visit to Marrakesh I wanted to stay somewhere that felt authentic, and this small friendly hotel was just that. There are no frills and fuss, but it’s clean and the staff cannot do enough to help. We arrived very late on our first evening and the restaurant was closed, however they went out of their way to ensure there was something available for us to eat and drink. I would agree with some of the reviews regarding breakfast as this was my least favourite aspect of the visit, but I don’t agree about it being stale as everything was clearly fresh. There was bread, croissants, conserves and cake offered every day with sometimes a small bowl of mixed fruit yogurt or crepes. I don’t normally eat a lot of carbs so this was challenging and I was craving protein by the end of my stay. The pool area is nice and the pool was clean….although cold lol. We indulged in a Hamam at the on site spa on our last day and wished he had done it sooner as it was great!! The distance to the Medina was no trouble for us as we did not want a hotel in the centre of the hustle and bustle with crazy traffic and picked El Miria partly based on location and were prepared to pay the taxi fares 100DRH during the day and 150DRH in the evening. I was able to have wine to the room every evening without issue, however there was one evening where the beer did run out. Again this wasn’t a problem as we respect that it is a Muslim country and lots of places don’t even serve alcohol. The best part for us was how friendly and helpful the staff are. They all go out of their way to ensure the guests needs are met and they do it with a smile.
