“Great stay and tennis too!”
The hotel is located close to the old city and the train station. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located close to the old city and the train station. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The gardens are beautiful with lots of orange trees, flowers and olive trees There you will find a good sized pool and a clay tennis court where Saeed, the tennis instructor will be happy to give you a great workout. If you don’t have your gear, the mall across the street has a sports goods store and Saeed can lend you a racket.

“Mixed experience with (toilet) paper thin walls”

Very mixed experience at the hotel, while generally the staff were kind and helpful the hotel itself was challenge. Parts of it were under construction which didn't affect my stay that much but the walls were (toilet) paper thin in the rooms. I generally check reviews for sound and noise complaints and didn't see folks have as many issues as I did so perhaps I was just unlucky but I could hear EVERYTHING happening in the room next door. Some of which included an extensive discussion of the bowel movements of my neighbors (and their toilet flushing - though thankfully I couldn't hear the activities that took place on said toilet). On my second night whatever new denizens took over were having a conversation late into the night that kept me up. I don't even think they were being particularly loud or obnoxious but the noise travelled to a ridiculous degree. They were polite and apologetic when I knocked on the connecting door and asked them to keep it down because their conversation was traveling and it was nearly 1 am. The temperature controls are also something to look out for if you're sensitive to that. Apparently it's all run on a centralized system, I run warm and tried to put the AC on the first night to no avail. When I asked the following day they explained it was currently set to heat only but did bring me a relatively effective fan. Also be warned it's rather far outside the pickup zones for a lot of activities so be prepared to cab or walk to closer to the area nearer Koutoubia if you want to do excursions etc. While I didn't get a chance to go swimming it was very nice to lay out by the pool and read for a bit so that's certainly a plus. The buffet breakfast being available starting very early is also a bonus.
