Had a lovely week here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our room was upgraded from junior suite to Royal suite which was a huge apartment. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and the food and drink provided was all of good quality, varied menus and plentiful. There's plenty of space in and around the hotel so it felt luxurious. The sunshine helped. Good service, nice surroundings. A few areas needed some tlc on the decoration front, but some painting work was underway around the pool when we were there. An enjoyable stay with good staff and service.

Nice hotel, found the room clean and spacious. As we were golfers we could have done with a room closer to reception, we had quite a walk with our clubs at the start and end of the day. Nice hotel, found the room clean and spacious. As we were golfers we could have done with a room closer to reception, we had quite a walk with our clubs at the start and end of the day. Perhaps the hotel should think about golfers carrying their clubs a fair way through the hotel. We wet on the ground floor at least. Food was nice, maybe quite a bit of Moroccan food - but when in Morocco, I suppose you should expect that. There was plenty of choice, so I am sure you could always find something. Breakfast had chefs cooking fresh omelette and evening meals had then making up fresh pasta dishes/sauces.

Group of 8 golfers. After arriving at the sister hotel the Kenzi Club only to be told they had no rooms for us but would upgrade us to the Palace Hotel instead. Group of 8 golfers. After arriving at the sister hotel the Kenzi Club only to be told they had no rooms for us but would upgrade us to the Palace Hotel instead. We will never know if an upgrade or the difference but all seemed ok on our arrival. Good points - Large rooms, air conditioning poor. First room overlooking noisy road and drain smell. So ensure a pool facing room. Relaxed atmosphere- however only 5 percent of guests English. 90 percent French. Bar, restaurant and pool staff friendly, helpful and great. Pools and grounds nice Cons. Lied to at checkin that Italian was included in our all inclusive. Was a pop up restaurant and whilst we didn’t pay for our meal in the end of not great. Buffet food OK - Iberostar earlier in year much wider and better selection. If you have children or fussy eaters they will struggle. No hand sanitisers in the hotel or restaurant Very few tongs in restaurant - so mixed for different food types Many items needed to be picked up by hand. Breads, pastries, - cookies and macrons in a jar. Felt poor hygiene - many of the French guests witnessed not washing hands after toilet visits 3 of our group all in different rooms had a 24 hour D and V bug. Evening entertainment- a couple of background singers. Feels like an over 60s location At checkout keep you hanging on so they can check you didn’t have anything from the minibar - nothing premium in the mini bar so very unnecessary - should be included if all inclusive even if not restocked. Wouldn’t return - can see why French guests may like it.
