“Beautiful, blissful, elegant.”
Stayed at Jnane Tamsna during a Moroccan vacation. I wish I stayed longer. Beautiful room, more like an apartment. The food was plentiful and delicious. The dining room during dinner felt like an upscale restaurant with it decor, lighting and service. I will return with my SO for a nice romant… more
Stayed at Jnane Tamsna during a Moroccan vacation. I wish I stayed longer. Beautiful room, more like an apartment. The food was plentiful and delicious. The dining room during dinner felt like an upscale restaurant with it decor, lighting and service. I will return with my SO for a nice romantic vacation. The owners are onsite and met with the guests, great conversations. A writer's retreat was ending while I was there. I spoke with one of the writers who raved about the retreat. If there are aspiring writers thinking of a great retreat it sounded like Jnane Tamsna is a must. Beautiful, blissful and worth it.

“An Oasis of Serenity in a Bustling City”

From the moment you drive through the gate that leads into the Jnane Tamsna estate, time falls away. The beautiful architecture of the main building with its Moroccan arches, the swaying palm trees and cascading bougainvilleas, and the immaculate, warm decor of the public spaces and rooms literally transport you into a different world. Five (5!) swimming pools await (in November, only two were heated but the big one with the bar and shop beside it is a fabulous space for congregating, hanging out, or reading a book. The extensive gardens, complete with organic vegetable beds, are fun to explore. Dinners are set menus and inevitably delicious, with dietary restrictions well catered for, as well as surprisingly reasonably priced. The rooftop terrace is a great place from which to watch the sun set over the palm trees home-made cocktail in hand! The attentive staff know who you are so there's no signing of bills - charges magically appear on your final invoice. Meryanne and Gary, the owners, are warm and welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about Morocco, its history, culture, and food. The staff - including the drivers who provide airport transfers or lifts into town and back - are very friendly and helpful, and everyone speaks English and French. All in all, a wonderfully rich and immersive experience that I will never forget.

“Magic Oasis”
An amazing oasis of peace and relaxation. We went for a day visit and ended up staying for a few nights at the end of our week in Marrakesh. It was the perfect way to end a lively week. An amazing oasis of peace and relaxation. We went for a day visit and ended up staying for a few nights at the end of our week in Marrakesh. It was the perfect way to end a lively week. The rooms pools food staff hosts guests and grounds were amazing. And just 15 minutes from the centre. Will never forget the rooftop dinner we enjoyed with all the other guests nor the amazing room we stayed in. So much more to see and do in Morocco and next time we visit we will come back and stay at this special place.

I recently embarked on a solo trip to Marrakech and, while I was initially a bit nervous, my stay at Jnane exceeded all expectations. The owners and staff welcomed me like family, making me feel right at home. I cherished the serene coffee service by the pool, indulged in a blissful in-room massage, and enjoyed their top-notch clay tennis courts. They even arranged all my tours seamlessly through WhatsApp! I can’t recommend this place enough. Marrakech stole my heart, and a huge part of that is thanks to the hotel’s incredible hospitality and recommendations. I’m already looking forward to my return! Absolutely loved it!
