Overall hotel was fantastic. Clean, beautifully kept and gorgeous to look at. Very aesthetically pleasing, modern and well kept. Pools and gardens are amazing. Plenty of pools for adults and kids. Staff are really pleasant and remembered us each day. Food and restaurants are lovely both to eat in and look at. You have to book the al a Carte restaurants in advance though. They have 2 sittings at 7pm and 9pm and there’s isn’t much on there for younger ones but overall they were lovely. The mini fridge was filled up each day in the room and the room was Cleaned with fresh towels. I went off the complex twice and both times my teenage daughter (blonde hair blue eyed pale white skin) was leered at and drooled over by local men of all ages( not the hotels fault obviously. But just an FYI) so I didn’t feel safe going out again with just us two. There were some simple things that could have made it better for the price we paid for the star rating it has. Room service is not available but should be as our room was a fair way away from any bars, double beds in the room for couples. (I’m told they too had two single beds). They could do with a beach bar on the actual beach, there isn’t one so we had to walk back to the bar in the complex. Usually, when you tip waiting on staff they tend to look after you and check on you more , not a guarantee but this didn’t happen and on the last day we checked out at 12pm but weren’t leaving until 720. We were told we’d have a room for an hour to get showered and ready to go, in. But instead they told us to use the shower rooms in the inside pool. On the whole. It’s was a lovely holiday and I’d recommend the hotel.

This is our first stay at the hotel we would normally stay at the Rui palmeraie however being adults only swayed our decision. On arrival to the hotel we were a little underwhelmed with the checkin being given no maps of the hotel or details of restaurants and or daily itineraries. Our bags were taken to the room which was great whilst we had a bite to eat. The room we were given was dreadful. Broken toilet seat, paint coming of the ceiling and although we booked a room with a balcony or terrace we were overlooking a tin roof littered in half eaten bread rolls with only a sliding window. We raised this straight away with reception to be told we’d booked the cheapest room we should have upgraded. I offered to pay but got told this was the only room available and dismissed from reception. My wife upset as she’d made the holiday booking went back down with our booking confirmation from Tui that clearly said balcony or terrace. She was told they would look to change rooms in the morning but couldn’t promise as the hotel was fully booked. After spending several hours on to tui and the hotel management they agree to change the room the following day to what we’d booked… however was made to feel like we were cheap getting some kind of free upgrade….. The new room was better although still a little tatty, the aircon didn’t work and the beds were 2 singles we have requested to be made into a double which never happened. We had to ask for towels several times and water wasn’t provided in the room. The pool areas are great but the sunbeds well overdue for replacement with the most being broken and although the hotel doesn’t allow the reserving of sun beds this must be only monitored before 5am… as at 6am towels were already out… The bars were great and staff always happy to help with a smile on their face. The restaurants were good however food choice was limited. One of the ala-carte restaurants was closed during our stay and the second restaurant closed which was strange with the hotel being fully booked… The entertainment team were friendly. We did decide to leave the hotel for a walk however were greeted by local child’s begging for money which then threw stones at us. The shuttle bus was good and drops off at a good location. This was our 8th time to Marrakesh and won’t be our last but we’ll choose a different hotel next time.
