Having read the reviews before I went I was a little apprehensive. I can see why People have said what they have said , however for the cost of the hotel you really can’t complain ! If you are looking for a week holiday staying in the hotel then this is a no go. No activities , they don’t even sell alcohol if that’s your thing . However if you simply want a hotel to sleep at night which is clean and comfortable with a fantastic pool after being out all day then this is a great little hotel . Be warned no air con and it was hotel . I’m ok with this I simply slept with door open and that was fine for me . But if you need air con then this would be another reason to not choose it . I would personally stay here again if I was i was to return. 15 mins taxi ride from main square .

“Beautiful city, however not so beautiful hotel”

We arrived to the hotel around 1:45pm. Once we had checked in we were taken to our room. To our surprise the room had not been cleaned since the last guests stayed . We didn’t make a fuss of it and went out to eat as we were quite hungry. Staff promised that it would be cleaned by the time we were back. In the description it states the room has AC and a hairdryer , both which we did not have. We went down in the night to ask about the Ac and reception staff said they would send someone up. No one came up. Second night we asked about the Ac. Reception staff said it would come on automatically . It didn’t , so we went down and were told someone would come up. They didn’t . On the third day we had an excursion in the morning , so asked reception staff if they could have a look at the AC whilst we were gone. When we came back it still wasn’t working . We went down to reception and the man at the desk said ‘ you had all day to tell us and you decide to come and tell us about this now. I’ll send someone up” NOBODY CAME. On the fourth day we were told there was a general problem with the AC and nobody’s was working . Every single day we were told something different. Bear in mind it was around 32-38 degrees, so it got very hot a sweaty in the night. Aside from this, the pool area is lovely and the housekeeping staff were lovely . I read some reviews about rooms not being cleaned daily , but ours was cleaned everyday- to a good standard. The hotel usually had a taxi outside that would take you to where you need to go . Marrakesh is a lovely city. I would definitely recommend coming here. We really enjoyed doing things such as the camel rides and visiting the souk. I would say ALWAYS ALWAYS haggle because they will go down on their prices .
